About The Role
Lead the global innovation integrated communications strategy and execution for makeup and skincare for Orveon’s collective of beauty brands [bareMinerals, BUXOM Cosmetics and Laura Mercier] together with the executive director global public relations and in collaboration with content, creative, CRM, e-commerce, global marketing, influencer relations, paid media, social, US marketing and other relevant cross functional stakeholders. Together with the executive director, global public relations, develop the global innovation integrated communications strategy for makeup and skincare (always on and launches) inclusive of but not limited to artistry communications, brand activations, brand communications, celebrity engagement, creative, content development, crisis, and issues management, earned media, influencer relations, makeup artist engagement, paid media, partnerships, social media and more. *Role requires in-person attendance in New York, ability to travel and work nights and weekends
Primary Responsibilities
- Earned Media: Develop and manage execution of earned media strategy for makeup and skincare (always on and launch) for global innovation integrated communications initiatives
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholders, for example CEO, brand presidents, artistry, education, marketing, and product development, for the development and execution of global innovation integrated communications strategic initiatives for makeup and skincare
- Agency Engagement: Manage agency on strategic execution of the global innovation integrated communications strategy
- Issues Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage risk of negative brand perception for makeup and skincare (always on and launches)
- Makeup and Skincare Forecasting: Develop strategy for makeup and skincare forecasting for global innovation integrated communications initiatives
- Global Communications: Together with the executive director of global public relations, support the execution of the global innovation integrated communications strategy
- Awards: Develop and manage strategy for awards submissions for makeup and skincare
- Partnerships: Together with the executive director of global public relations and other relevant cross functional stakeholders, support the execution of brand and talent (i.e., celebrity, creator, influencer, etc.) partnerships for makeup and skincare (always on and launches)
- Budget Management: Together with the executive director global public relations, manage the budget for the global public relations communications campaigns and initiatives
- Measurement and Reporting: Together with the executive director, global public relations. and relevant cross functional stakeholders, support measurement and reporting of the global innovation communications campaigns

Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working in brand marketing, communications, influencer marketing, journalism public relations or social media within agency and/or in-house.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and issues management.
- Experience within beauty, fashion, or a related consumer goods industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing agencies.
- Experience developing events strategy and designing and managing events.
- Strong interpersonal, creative, presentation, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience building and maintain relationships with celebrities, creators, editors, influencers, and reporters.
- Demonstrated experience developing 360 campaigns, from strategy development to tactical execution.
- Experience and knowledge of beauty trends.
- Experience working collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment, notably, creative, influencer, marketing, legal, partnerships, product, and social.
- Demonstrated history of self-initiated projects.
- Highly strategic thinker, creative and communicator.
- Presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the experience to communicate complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
The pay range for this position is $98,000-$156,000.
The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
