About the Job
The Director, Social Media Marketing and Influencer Management will be part of a creative and nimble marketing and communications team, with both a B2C and B2B focus.
This person will be responsible for leading all aspects of Inspire’s social media strategy and influencer management. They will report to the SVP, Marketing and Communications. This job can be done from our offices in Arlington, VA, fully remotely, or some combination of the two.
Specific Responsibilities
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Inspire’s goals, with a heavy focus on LinkedIn and B2B marketing.
- Manage community engagement strategy across Inspire’s social accounts.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and strategies, using data-driven insights to continually improve results.
- Manage social media budget, optimizing spending to achieve the best results.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in social media, incorporating them into the overall strategy.
Influencer Management
- Lead Inspire’s patient influencer program to increase engagement on the Inspire platform.
- Manage 20+ patient influencer relationships, identify new influencers, and manage content calendars.
- Work with Inspire business development leaders to identify areas of commercial development, and establish influencers in those spaces.
- Regularly track and report on metrics to determine RoI of program, and develop strategies to improve it.
- Manage influencer budget, optimizing spending to achieve the best results.
The right person will have
- 10+ years of overall work experience, with 7+ years experience in social media marketing, influencer management, and content development/ strategy.
- Excellent content creation skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling social copy.
- Deep experience with LinkedIn in particular. LinkedIn is a key channel for Inspire to reach clients and potential clients.
- Some experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Some experience in healthcare. Experience in a tech company and/or a marketing agency is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking metrics and reporting on RoI of efforts.
- Experience in media relations and thought leadership a plus.
- A high bar for excellence, a disposition to action, and a solutions-oriented approach to work.
