Snap India has been a cornerstone of Snap’s growth since 2019. Snap has made significant investments in localizing the app and has successfully built a highly engaged Snapchatter community in India. We’re looking for a Head of Content & Partnerships, India based in Mumbai., who can design, develop, and execute strategic initiatives, with a focus on driving content creation, content engagement and audience growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Help create content strategy and define KPIs for content acquisition and content engagement for India
  • Lead the Content & Partnership function that includes creator/ talent partnership, media partnership, spotlight, sports partnership, music partnership and partner monetization
  • Protect the long-term health of the ecosystem by constantly balancing the interests of content consumers, content creators, advertisers, and Snap
  • Identify the content needs of Snapchatters, give high-level strategic input, and influence in improving existing products and features
  • Create and implement plans for partners to drive editorial and user engagement growth
  • Identify viewership and track patterns to find key areas of interest to our audience and use that to improve editorial content across the Shows product
  • Create and maintain audience development best practices for the Shows product
  • Drive feedback loop between external Show partners and Snapchat regarding measurement and learnings
  • Responsible for developing our partner ecosystem, selecting and onboarding supply from a wide variety of partners, as well as managing content BD and dealmaking
  • Collaborate and partner with global teams in Snap across product, engineering & business to strategize and execute plans for the India market

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who loves data and has a proven track record of using analytics and trends to build and develop audiences
  • Experience working closely with major media partners & the creator community; must be able to strongly represent yourself and Snapchat to external partners
  • Demonstrates equal parts of creative and analytical abilities
  • An understanding of how platforms work, why audiences engage with content, and what kinds of experiences get our audience to engage
  • An experienced creative with exceptional editorial judgment and deep industry rolodexes
  • A leader with a defined and focused creative vision, as well as strong organizational & collaboration skills
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity. Ability to problem solve and work with stakeholders across multiple teams & levels internally
  • Passionate about Snapchat

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12+ years of experience in content acquisition and engagement
  • Deep understanding of the content ecosystem and landscape
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead multiple projects with stakeholders across functions with success
  • Solid track record in stakeholder management with a focus on building C-level relationships with partners
  • Ready to wear multiple hats and thrive in ambiguity
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to inspire and drive end-to-end content acquisition and engagement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environment
  • A strong understanding of Snapchat and the digital advertising ecosystem
