Job Responsibilities
The VP of Digital Marketing/Demand Generation is responsible for driving the economic engine at selfpublishing.com. The purpose of this position is to grow Qualified Appointments (Qapps) and Revenue as fast as possible while also reducing CAC (cost to acquire customer).Filling up the sales team’s calendars with qualified appointmentsMUST be great at 3 things:Proven leader of a marketing / demand generation team at scaleLOVES marketing & is passionate about itThe VP of Marketing focuses the team on growing the channels that are working, pruning the channels / campaigns that aren’t working, and breeding a culture of testing/innovation to sprout new marketing campaigns and channels.All of these decisions are made by data and rigorous testing…NOT… “gut feel”. Trusting your gut (informed by conversations with customers) is great when coming up with new tests to run…not when making big decisions on how to allocate marketing budget.
