What You Will Do
The Associate Manager, Influencer & Content is a high-impact rolewithin the Consumer Growth & Performance Marketing Team with key responsibilities and ownership to drive our influencer strategy, development, and execution; supporting the megabrand brand manager with execution and analytics of our owned and earned social content to drive the relevance and salience of the Aveeno brand.
This role drives differentiated awareness and loyalty while creating a strong emotional connection with our community through influencer activations. This role is “part art and part science” – requiring strong analytical prowess, expertise in the beauty & skincare space, combined with passion for influencers and disruptive content. The ideal candidate will be consumer-obsessed, passionate about democratizing access to health care professionals and highly creative, maintaining a high bar for aesthetic & quality. The ideal candidate will also be versed in cross-functional stakeholder management to deliver the most impactful communications to consumers.
Key Responsibilities-
Influencer Strategy and Management
- Develop and drive influencer + talent-led strategy for our creator network which often includes PR
- Build relationships and effectively collaborate with brand, public relations, research and development, trade, and customer marketing to help develop effective influencer campaigns
- Provide one-to-one, strategic campaign planning and negotiate contracts with influencers
- Collaborate closely with agency partners to ensure strategic vision is being activated across megabrand and category campaign initiatives
- Collaborate with paid media team to ensure influencer earned and owned activations work hard across the marketing funnel
- Keep a pulse on new and emerging trends and platforms—testing, learning, and experimenting in ways that feel authentic to the brand
- Lead ideation and collaboration of cross-brand and cross functional campaigns to support the greater business goals
Owned Social Content Execution
- Develop high-performing creative content for Aveeno by partnering with a roster of world-class agencies. Role will support reviewing and approving creative concepts for owned channels for the Aveeno brand in partnership with the brand manager.
- Partner with brand marketing category teams to develop creative briefs that deliver on business objectives and inspire agencies to produce thumb-stopping work.
- Support Aveeno organic channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and emerging platforms. Develop organic content strategy and calendar for posting in partnership with The Amp, our in-house creative agency. Lead content planning and manage volume of deliverables, timelines, and budget with in-house team. Partner with Community Engagement Leads to understand consumer response to content.
Overall Reporting, Insights, & Compliance
- Elevates the measurement and monitoring of influencer spend.
- Drives influencer contracting process for creator engagements.
- Drive growth, engagement, and performance against ambitious KPIs.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives; make recommendations to optimize performance; communicate wins across the organization
- Utilize in house vetting tools to ensure creators leveraged have strong growth trajectory and true influence
- Leverages social listening tools such as Khoros, Revuze and Brandwatch to monitor trends beyond owned channels
- Develop Monthly dashboard to assess performance and understand what content could be leverage into paid or inform paid creative evolution. Continually assess real-time performance of content using data, analytics, and insights to adapt, or eliminate content to deliver aligned success metrics, including return on investment and social engagement.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience is required, i.e. in an influencer marketing role developing and executing strategy and campaigns
- Expertise and success sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and negotiating with Influencers
- Proven track record of developing and implementing influencer campaigns
- Measurement-minded with a strong understanding of the performance metrics widely used and available data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience in tracking relevant metrics
- Experience analyzing influencer-specific metrics
- Proven track record / portfolio of ideating and delivering social campaigns that drive impactful results
- Working knowledge of and experience with major social media platforms is required (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
- Self-starter with interpersonal, leadership, and teambuilding skills to form relationships and work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams, suppliers, and agencies.
- Able to be a great teammate and individual contributor, and willing/eager to work in a hands-on capacity with creative people.
- Exceptional writing, communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to hone in on insights, including the ability to interpret social insights and data and translate it into actionable business results
- This position requires approximately 10-25% domestic travel
Desired Qualifications-
- Experience in the Beauty/Skin Health industry.
- Previous experience activating with HCP on social media and passion for the beauty industry, with knowledge and expertise in Skincare specifically
- Masters degree in business or marketing specialization.
- Prior experience managing a budget.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750
