What You Will Do

The Manager Director for Advocacy & Influencer Marketing will support the strategy and execution of the ever-changing social and creator ecosystem. This creative yet analytical and data-driven marketer, will help lead our brands in creating meaningful connections with our advocates, creators and consumers. We are seeking a consumer-focused and highly creative marketer who is a skilled storyteller, strong communicator and has a proven record in terms of cross-functional leadership. Ideally, this candidate is an experienced content creator and has extensive experience and knowledge about the creator economy. They will report to the AVP, Advocacy and Influencer, work collaboratively with the CDMO Brand Engagement team and cross-functionally with corporate digital teams and brand counterparts, as well as external agencies.

  • Support building the overall L’Oreal USA Advocacy and Influencer go-to-market strategy, across all social platforms and digital channels.
  • Help curate and build L’Oreal’s creator network to drive sales, engagement, retention and brand love.
  • Stay ahead of existing and new influencer networks and platforms (CreatorIQ, Grin, Traackr, etc) by fostering a relationship with external partners to deliver updates.
  • Partner with social lead to share platform updates and best practices around new creators/features/content formats rolled out on existing and new platforms (i.e. TikTok Shop, Discord, Twitch etc)
  • Identify new creator opportunities across emerging platforms and verticals and lead creative ideation, unlocking new opportunities for the group
  • Provide ongoing guidance to brand teams in line with the overall L’Oréal strategy to grow key advocacy metrics and brand love, including L’Oréal proprietary metrics
  • Deliver creator-led insights, trends, case studies and industry updates to internal cross-functional teams and help foster a strong sense of community
  • Assist the Brand Engagement Group to work effectively with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to Marketing, Digital, Media, and global teams) in creating creator-led strategies, and relevant measurement approaches to better serve consumer needs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 8-10 years of digital marketing, creator and influencer marketing, social media marketing
  • Highly creative and well versed in content creation and the creator economy across all platforms
  • Expertise in social and content strategy and A&I measurement
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills building trusting partnerships and building a strong communications strategy and network.
  • Ability to effectively structure and articulate presentations to foster learning.
  • Strategic thinking, impeccable organizational skills, a talent for process management and relationship building, and ability to influence effectively.
  • Aptitude for working both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Experience liaising between business and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with managing vendor relationships, including but not limited to budgeting, briefing.
  • Strong time management and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Photoshop a plus
  • Proficiency on social platforms (Instagram, Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik Tok and YouTube)
  • Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans.
