JOB TITLE: Influencer Marketing Manager

REPORTS TO: Social Strategy Director

LOCATION: Hybrid or Remote

About The Role

In this role, an Influencer Marketing Manager with 3-5 years of experience is sought, showcasing proficiency in collaborating with paid creators, influencers, and talent agencies. The preferred individual will have agency experience across various verticals, though a strong background in brand or media is also acceptable. Proficient in deploying distinctive strategies and leveraging creative platforms, this role excels in crafting influencer and creator content that captivates audience attention. Additionally, this role possesses a comprehensive understanding of the influencers' and creators' roles within the broader context of integrated communication plans.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the development and implementation of influencer campaigns from ideation to execution.
  • Develop informed strategies and work with an integrated team to execute.
  • Set up and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the campaign’s success; Generate and present reports on campaign performance.
  • Manage content publishing approvals in accordance with key objectives and opportunities.
  • Operate as a key influencer/creator liaison between agency and client, ensuring cohesion and successful operations. Provide basic client counsel; serve as a key participant in client meetings and presentations.
  • Be the go-to leader for development and execution of influencer/creator strategies and planning.
  • Lead the influencer/creator casting and relationships to ensure a thriving and enduring roster of individuals to strengthen communications efforts.
  • Manage influencer databases and tools as needed.

  • Highly proficient in analyzing/vetting influencer/creator talent for the strongest fits (quality over quantity)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in influencer brief writing
  • Experienced (2-3 years) with contract and fee negotiations around influencer/creator deliverables and guarantees.
  • Highly experienced (3-5 years) with influencer/creator content/publishing calendars in accordance with overarching business goals/ambitions
  • Passion for culture and people in a way that one could apply to business opportunities.
  • Ability to isolate and elevate cultural, consumer, and platform established and emerging trends, behaviors, and insights.
  • Portfolio of campaign/activations where influencers/creators were used.
  • Experience managing a campaign budget of $100K+
  • High proficiency (3-5 years) in delivering robust content performance reports.
  • A creative perspective that protects strong ideas and understands how to bring them to life through the influencer channel.
  • Understand the elements of storytelling that make content exciting, how influencer programming integrates with what brands are doing in the press and on social platforms, and what they should do next.
  • Agency experience that champions creativity and understands how to fight to bring great work to life. Doesn’t look at influencers/creators as a reason to perpetuate best practices, but an opportunity to create a new expression.
  • Understanding of cultural nuance and the variables that impact society and people positively and negatively.
  • Managing affiliate marketing structures between key objectives and influencer performance
  • Celebrity/spokesperson experience that includes relationship management, negotiations and contracting.
