Job Description
How You Will Make An Impact
As our Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will be a key player on the team focused on thredUP brand awareness and preference. Our team leverages organic social, content, community, and other storytelling avenues to achieve our brand goals.
As our coordinator, you will report to our Brand Marketing Manager, and be deeply involved in the planning and execution of social and content marketing on thredUP’s owned organic social channels, specifically Instagram. Content and influencer marketing are also very much a part of the role. The Brand Marketing Coordinator also works closely with our Community Manager on our Ambassador program.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hyper organized, strong communicator with high standards who will challenge us to test new things, surface insights, and suggest improvements for our social media, content, and communications campaigns. Candidate must have had prior experience in a similar field or role.
In This Role You’ll Get To:
- Lead planning and execution of thredUP’s Social Content Calendar
- Developing and scheduling content on thredUP’s social media channels Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
- Understanding channel KPIs and ownership of measuring performance across all social media channels
- Lead on project management of social campaigns and collaboration with Creative and Copy teams
- Create in-house content including photography and videos when needed
- Assist with growth and development of our Ambassador program including vetting talent, day-to-day management of the program, and end-of-month analysis and reporting of program growth
- Manage thredUP’s social community on Instagram via Story Interactions, Comments and Direct messages
- Manage and grow thredUP’s User Generated Content utilized across all owned marketing channels
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years of work experience in a social media coordinator role
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms including content creation (filming videos + taking photos) and performance analysis
- Experience with influencer/ambassador programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of handling detail-oriented customer-facing materials
- Passion for sustainable fashion and thrift preferred!
At thredUP, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $80,000 and $92,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
