Summary

The Content Creator, Social Media is a highly motivated video maker with proven expertise in helping consumers discover new brands through compelling social content. The right candidate will be an idea factory with deep experience making distinctive video content in the era of short form video. Their camera roll is comprised of TikToks, the notes on their iPhone are lists of video ideas, and they speak gen-z (even if they aren’t).

This role requires an expert creator that can translate a broader brand strategy and persona into culturally relevant executions on social.

If Digital moves fast, social moves faster. What’s the next big trending sound? Was the Tarte creator trip to Dubai cringe or brilliant? We need team members who can answer these questions (and more), to help us keep up with the pace of change that’s happening on platforms and in culture. Relying on insights gained from their own personal media consumption habits, they will bring cultural relevance to the work and our brand.

The ideal candidate will:

● Have a social presence and proven experience growing either your personal or a brand's page.

● Consistently ideate, create and curate content with a strong point of view and deep brand knowledge, using innovative approaches to structure and presentation to drive distinctiveness in social.

● Be experimental with content; take risks with what you're creating; and be original. Can turn one-off hits into successful repeatable formats.

● Stay on top of trends, timely cultural moments, and upcoming product launches to capitalize on reactive opportunities.

● Have excitement and never-ending curiosity surrounding the future of social storytelling.

● Be well organized and collaborative in your work and communications.

● Confidently and comfortably communicate with senior leader stakeholders, answering questions clearly, concisely, and quickly.

● Be a builder. Lives and breathes “yes, and”.
