Meet The Dexcom Summer Internship Program

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing lives for patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 10-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our hybrid and remote work model ensure that we can invite a diverse and talented intern class from across the country. Interns will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop their skills all while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of “Game Changers” based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization.   • Team Highlights: We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will support the direct-to-consumer marketing team in coordinating and executing innovative, data-driven marketing plans and programs that drive demand and brand love. This person will obtain valuable experience partnering cross-functionally and have exposure to a wide range of marketing responsibilities, which will include collaborating on cross-channel marketing activation (CRM, PR, Paid Media, SEO/SEM, Web, Influencer, Events, etc.) and contributing on content and asset management, reporting, market analysis and research.

Where You Come In

  • You will support the development, execution, and monitoring of omni-channel marketing plans and programs that drive demand, retention, and build brand love.
  • You will develop intimate working knowledge of segmentation and contribute to journey planning across all touch points.
  • You will assist in the commercialization of winning products, programs, and services.
  • You will manage the formal review process to ensure all marketing tactics are approved via the document control system.
  • You will provide executional tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • You’re a strong partner, and will collaborate cross-functionally to ideate, prioritize, and deliver frictionless customer experiences.
  • You identify opportunities for process improvement and alignment and make recommendations.
  • You will support events, meetings, and activities that arise within the marketing teams.

  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have knowledge of consumer-driven marketing, branding, creative services, public relations, journalism, and/or communications.
  • You are knowledgeable in leveraging data, research, and trends to inform decisions.
  • You are highly flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
  • You’re a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Education And Experience

  • Typically requires a completed Bachelors degree and actively enrolled Masters, JD, or PhD students with a minimum of 0-2 years related experience.

Non-Exempt Salary Details

The hourly salary range for this role is $29.00 to $35.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
