The Daily Wire is looking to add a Social Media Content Creator to the team! This position will be responsible for creating and curating content for Daily Wire and Daily Wire Talent social media channels. Content Creators work closely with Platform Managers to optimize content for individual platforms & execute social media strategies based on available data. Responsibilities

  • Create content that aligns with the Daily Wire and Daily Wire talent brands and follows social media platform content guidelines
  • Ensure that all content meets social media platform guidelines and community standards in order to avoid all possible content strikes, policy violations, demonetizations, etc.
  • Work with the Platform Manager to identify content KPIs and set trackable goals; develop strategies and objectives to meet KPIs
  • Adjust strategies and content creation based on data-driven insights from Platform Managers
  • Pitch initiatives and content to producers to reach KPIs
  • Edit and distribute timely content which can occur outside of normally scheduled hours
  • Create promotional content for all Daily Wire talent-specific releases
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements

  • Immersion in and full understanding of social media platform operations; including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and Rumble
  • 2+ years previous experience in comparable social media marketing position
  • Knowledge of and experience in 3rd party social media platforms, including Crowdtangle, Grabien, and Sprout Social
  • Proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Strong understanding of the Daily Wire and Talent brands
  • Strong instincts for successful social media platform audiences and content
  • Ability to spot and capitalize on social media trends
  • Experience orchestrating social media marketing campaigns
  • Excellent proof-reading skills, impeccable grammar and spelling
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Proficient Google Suite skills (docs, sheets, slides, mail, Gchat)

Reports to: VP of Paid Media

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Non-Exempt

Compensation: Dependent upon experience
