portfolio marketing professional is responsible for developing deep buyer insights that will inform value propositions and messaging in content, campaigns and sales enablement materials, and for evolving results-driven programs. This person will create and manage demand marketing plans that deliver maximum impact. These programs create relevant two-way interactions with prospects and referral sources to inform and influence their buying/referral decisions and broader relationship with the organization. This person needs to unify and motivate peers from different teams, ensuring particularly strong interlock with sales, business units, demand generation, content, design, and corporate communications.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Research, develop & deploy buyer personas (when needed) using a deep understanding of target buyer needs, the buying decision process, buyer journey, & scenarios
  • Develop offering-level value propositions & narrative messaging elements targeted at buyers to be activated into content, campaigns & the source messaging blueprint
  • Develop sales enablement plans, adapting or creating content & tools and driving the adoption of offerings
  • Create campaign/program plans & own launch dashboards for new product, solution & services offerings, coordinating & interlocking with sales, the relevant business unit, demand generation, corporate communications & content for flawless execution
  • Formulate business unit target market sizing, segmentation & targeting strategies
  • Assist corporate communications & content in developing customer references, testimonials & case studies for external & internal use
  • Drive offering retention & upsell/cross-sell strategies for the business or assist/collaborate with corporate communications in doing so
  • Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns & programs and communicate the results of related sales &marketing efforts

Background And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business or a related field
  • 10 or more years in b-to-b marketing
  • Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience
  • Track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
  • Related market/industry experience highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Salesforce
  • Marketing automation (Marketo preferred)

Compensation

  • $95,000-155,000 per year
