Starface is seeking a Manager of Creative Partnerships & Community to help us as we lift

Starface World up into new heights. Reporting to our Director of Social & Content and leading two direct reports, the social-savvy Manager of Creative Partnerships & Community will manage our influencer program and creative social partnerships, and will also oversee community management.

The right candidate for this role is tapped into what is exciting in culture, the people who are driving it, how it’s translating on social media. To be successful in this role, you must be an independent, critical thinker, who can motivate and support your team internally while effectively navigating external partnerships and community needs and wants as a representative of the Starface brand.

Location: Full Remote, New York or Los Angeles preferred

WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO

  • Manage, coach, and develop the growth of two direct reports (an Influencer Operations and Analytics Coordinator and Community Management Senior Associate)
  • Grow our influencer program including seeding lists, creating curated experiences, and managing paid partnerships to drive further brand awareness/reach and coverage of our product launches and collaborations
  • Identify and manage partnerships with creatives and artist collaborators to create innovative, highly engaging content that reflects Starface brand voice and values
  • Oversee community management across all social platforms to nurture our existing community, increase positive sentiment, and identify opportunities to spotlight our community
  • Oversee reporting and metrics across all influencer and all organic social platforms
  • Partner with our Director of Social and Content to implement strategies that will develop and grow our content creator and influencer program
  • Identify talent (established and up and coming) and maintain relationships with influencers, VIPs, and content creators who are brand-appropriate
  • Monitor competitive industry activities and surfacing relevant insights and opportunities

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF

  • You have 5+ years of experience working within influencer/talent partnerships, including building influencer/talent networks, leading gifting campaigns, negotiating and executing contracts, creating personal relationships with talent and managers/agencies
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing and developing direct report
  • You have a strong understanding of how to build influencer/talent community by identifying brand-aligned talent to who is in the cultural zeitgeist now, and who is up and coming
  • Ideally, you have experience within the editorial, fashion, entertainment, or beauty/skincare space
  • You are able to work and execute autonomously while appropriately delegating and coaching your team to develop in their respective skill sets and experience
  • You are eager to embody Starface’s brand values by approaching partnerships authentically, creatively, and in unexpected ways that drive high impact
  • You’re highly organized and can own attention to detail within a fast, paced, ever-changing, ambiguous startup environment

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • The compensation range for this role is a $85,000-$110,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility and company stock options.
