The Manager, Digital Strategy & Content will report to the Associate Director, Digital Strategy & Content and will be responsible for supporting in the expansion of embecta’s digital and omnichannel capabilities across the organization. This role will be responsible for delivering consistent brand experience across the digital ecosystem and the campaigns run and offering up new, creative, and innovative ways to engage with our customers surrounding our products and services. This role will play a key part in providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of our global digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage various tasks efficiently, and contribute to the overall success of our digital and omnichannel strategy, inclusive of eCRM, advocacy and influencer partnerships, websites, and social media.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to develop and implement comprehensive digital and omnichannel marketing strategies that resonate with embecta’s target audiences.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency of brand messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
- Work closely with agency creative teams to ensure the development of compelling and effective digital marketing collateral.
- Lead social media channel management, with support from agency partners, including content calendar planning, identifying and reviewing opportunities with region and country marketers and light community management.
- Support website launches, optimizations and updates.
- Analyze marketing data and insights to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions for marketing channels.
- Partner with internal global, regional, and country leads and external partners to develop innovative digital tactics.
- Assist the Digital Center of Excellence for embecta, connecting regularly with region and country digital marketers to share best practices and resources.
- Communicate digital marketing support opportunities on a regular basis with relevant stakeholders including sales & marketing teams and IT department to ensure all digital efforts are fully synced up.
- Contribute digital engagement recommendations based upon customer insights and digital strategy.
- Support review processes and work with external partners to ensure timely and accurate preparation of digital programs (e.g., CRM, third-party partner programs, media, websites, mobile, email, social media, SEO/SEM, etc.)

- Expertise in social media marketing, strategy, process, and monitoring
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to vision as well execute.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and/or cross-regionally while building strong partnerships.
- Strong presentation, analytical and communication skills, both written and oral, are required to synthesize key issues and communicate/persuade constituencies towards specific actions and initiatives.
- Well organized, highly motivated, process-driven, and results-oriented with ability to balance priorities and assume responsibility in a multi-tasking environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of current and evolving social media platforms
- Demonstrated ability to process and understand business categories, competitive set and their brand and business goals/objectives.
- Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of success in developing and executing omnichannel strategies.
- 5+ years regulated industry experience.
- Experience with digital engagement, channel management, and analytics activities.
- Proven results in effective campaign management and implementation leading to achieving set target objectives.
- Proven ability to work with digital agencies, partners, and cross-functional support teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience with content creation and optimization for multiple digital platforms.
Preferred Requirements
- Product launch and diabetes experience a plus.
- Prior digital or social media marketing agency experience a plus.
- Creative asset development and skills such as video production and photo editing a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of various digital marketing channels and their respective best practices
- Creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
- Experience with analysis and development of social listening reports.
- Experience with A/B and other optimization techniques.
- Understanding of SEO and SEM principles and best practices.
