What does your role bring to the table?

The Social Media Manager will be a brand steward within Snooze by amplifying our brand story across all our social media platforms. By interacting heavily with our social & email management platforms (Punchh and Soci) this individual will provide rich insights that will inform and activate social and email campaigns that amplify the brand message.

In this role, the individual will be viewed as the social media expert with a goal of elevating our brand voice and driving restaurant traffic through strategic planning, social engagements, and deploying our social media and email strategy. This will include a focus on growing and engaging our social community with relevant content that supports our brand initiatives: menu innovation, quality & sourcing and guest experience. This role is also responsible for managing agency partners and creating collaborative partnerships with Creators and Influencers. Creativity and a keen understanding of digital and email engagement techniques, social platform trends and best practices is essential along with the ability to measure success in each platform. The role will also be responsible for responding to Guest comments on social media, continuing the engagement strategy and building a relationship with our Guests by leveraging the proper voice and personality to represent the brand.

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Social Media Manager isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

Thought Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop, shape, and execute a wholistic strategy around Snooze’s Social Media platforms and email databases, to grow and serve as a conduit to amplify brand messaging and drive traffic.
  • Understand content implications and strategic workings of each platform and how they work together.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a detailed social and email activation calendar on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage partner and agency relationships and scope of work to align with brand strategy and goals.
  • Utilize cultural insights and trends across channels to help build and shape strategy.
  • Support recommendations for and manage paid media opportunities including boosting and ads.
  • Support local traffic-driving and community opportunities by market or restaurant as needed to support NROs, under-performing restaurants or local initiatives.

Content Development, Engagement & Execution:

  • Create, curate, and manage content including email, text/SMS, audio, visual and multimedia formats, that is on brand and in support of key brand pillars and initiatives including menu innovation, sustainability & sourcing, Guest & Snoozer experience, NRO’s, traffic-driving initiatives etc.
  • Coordinate and lead partnerships and collaborations with large-scale Creators and Influencers.
  • Interact with Guests on social media in an appropriate, timely and engaging manner.
  • Stay connected to restaurant teams to help inform and identify new initiatives and opportunities.
  • Escalate any potential crisis and assist with crisis protocol if a situation occurs relevant to social media platforms.
  • Support employment brand through Snoozer highlights, and acquisition and retention tactics.

Analysis:

  • Set KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), develop scorecard, measure and track the success of current campaigns and initiatives to inform future campaigns and initiatives. Share insights and results across Brand Team.
  • Leverage social listening tools to provide brand and guest relations with brand insights.
  • Additional responsibilities based on company goals/objectives/priorities.

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Meta (IG/FB), TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, and other
  • 4+ years of experience in direct social media management including content development, managing activation calendars and analysis
  • Direct email marketing working experience desired
  • Experience with Soci, Punchh, and Sprinklr desired
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and video software desired

  • Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
  • Minimal travel required
  • Home base is in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (flexible-hybrid work schedule optional)

The Nitty Gritty Details

Denver area base salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 per year

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
