Digital Content Creator - OIT Learning & Communications
Job Summary
As a digital content creator in the Office of Learning and Communications, you will plan, produce, and create digital content to be used across various digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders. You will work closely with the training and operational communication teams to develop digital strategies and content ranging from training videos to short video snippets. The content will be distributed through a mix of digital channels including learning management training courses, digital signage, operational communications, newsletters, job aids, social media, and websites. The successful candidate is creative and able to identify, create, manage, and deliver digital content using a range of techniques. He or she will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Work will be performed for various departments under the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, including Business Affairs, Information Technology and the Office of Talent, Culture, and Engagement, among others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience in a related field (digital content creation/video production).
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of current technologies, with solid oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with industry standard tools and video snippet creation is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Five (5) years of experience in video design, creation, and production.
- Experience will be a combination of both video and digital media content creation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Strategize and produce digital video content across various platforms while also focusing on making content accessible.
- Write, storyboard, shoot and edit short-form video content independently and as part of a team. This includes handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production for digital video and multimedia projects while maintaining a high level of quality control throughout all stages. This includes selecting and scheduling talent and locations.
- Strategize with internal teams and clients to understand objectives and develop creative content that achieves desired results, while respecting deadlines.
- Stay current on the latest trends in digital media.
- Other duties as assigned.
