Primary Purpose: Summary of major reason this job exists.
The Brunswick Corporate Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for the Enterprise’s presence across our digital channels (inclusive of website and social media). The ideal candidate combines business insight and communication skills with superb marketing campaign execution.
This person will be responsible for strategy and execution of digital and social marketing initiatives that maintain and enhance the Brunswick brand online.
Responsibilities:
- Work on key digital/social strategies, goals, activations and reports for large Company initiatives (i.e. promotion of large Corporate events like Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Investor and Media Day; Supporting hiring and talent acquisition through digital strategies, and communicating our leadership position in marine to key stakeholder group)
- Oversee content for the Corporate social channels based on channel content strategy you’ve developed, influencer and ambassador strategy
- Responsible for social media governance, analytics and social listening for the Brunswick brand.
- Manage the Brunswick website (including: Content authoring, optimize content and structure to improve search engine ranking, and reporting)
- Work cross-functional and work with division, social and brand teams to ensure strategy alignment and governance excellence.
- Oversee Brunswick’s digital marketing analytics and reporting
- Build data analytics for Brunswick utilizing social tools, including social listening data sets to pull together actionable insights across the enterprise and for the Brunswick corporate brand.
- Build process efficiencies across social media submissions and adjust and manage the social approval process across an array of stakeholders, including senior leadership, legal, PR, HR and more.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related course of study
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience including social media management, marketing or communications
- Experience in website CMS platforms and SEO best practices plus experience developing and executing a social media + content strategy
- Knowledge of paid digital advertising programs with Google, Bing, social media ads and more
- Demonstrated success translating brand identity to social media content
- Ability to create engaging content for social media including Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube and more
- Ability to support community management and communicate using brand voice
- Experience with social media management, influencer and listening tools such as Hootsuite, Klear and Meltwater Explore, Talkwalker or other comparable tools
- Intermediate skill level with a design tool such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Passion for learning and remaining current on all forms of social media including emerging trends and channels
- Have a passion and desire to engage on social media in real-time, which could include nights & weekends
- Familiarity with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Strong time management to meet tight deadlines and work on simultaneous projects
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders from a wide variety of departments, including corporate communications, marketing, design, and social media
