About the Role:
The Education Development Manager will play a key role in the development of all Face Reality education and continuous education content. The Manager will be responsible for the materials that our Face Reality Educators and Instructor Team receive in addition to coaching and providing education curriculum to our B2B Channel of Acne Experts.
This role will be responsible for creating, implementing, and sustaining educational initiatives for our teams and Face Reality corporate. The Education Development Manager will partner with the Director of Education and Clinic to develop a holistic view of education and training opportunities.
The Manager will identify opportunities and deliver learning-based solutions that align to the organizational goals and objectives. This role is to become more agile in identifying and responding to training needs at the national B2B level, to elevate the Acne Expert interaction and experience with one-on-one training and regional events. This is a Hybrid role working onsite in Danville, CA Tuesdays - Thursdays and remotely Mondays and Fridays.
Education Curriculum Development
- Conceptualize, design and write curriculum and fact sheets to support education strategies, new product launches, and business program initiatives.
- Responsible for the development of Seasonal Launch Programs, Brand Onboarding and ongoing Acne Expert Level Programs.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to develop the most comprehensive education material.
- Teach and present education programs to Account Managers and Clinic Estheticians. Assess and measure results.
- Conceptualize, develop and execute an annual education calendar, including webinar programs, in-person classes, regional events, tradeshows and trade education events.
- Conceptualize, write and develop supporting print tools and eLearning content as needed
- Facilitate during Top-to-top sessions, department meetings and regular conference calls with Sales/Business Development.
Social Media & Video:
- Create virtual selling and consumer education content for TikTok & Instagram as an internal brand influencer.
- Responsible for the development of scripts and acting as on-camera talent for internal Education videos.
Strategy
- Develop education material, ensuring that content is relevant and supports brand objectives (i.e. product launches, channel development strategy, sales technique, product positioning, technology, etc.) and are consistent with the advanced professional image of the brand with the purpose of driving sales and expanding presence.
- Establish assessment program to ensure product knowledge retention and application capabilities.
- Digital partnership: Professional website + LMS Learning platform.
- Strong Marketing + Innovation team collaborator for all product launches and education content: Develop ancillary training support materials such as creative briefs, collateral materials, education formats, product guides, technical manuals, technical videos, training scripts, and other projects as necessary.
Execution + Monitoring
- Product education: Professional categories: hands-on + theory training for PRO only formats; ingredient, formula training; webinar + live training; skin diseases and conditions knowledge + procedure knowledge; integrated skincare training
- Professional Development programs for Clinic Estheticians (and all applicable levels)
- Create and launch in 2024 the Advanced Certification Levels for B2B Acne Experts
- Strategy, build, and content creation for an LMS learning platform: drive 6x sales+ engagement, exclusive content to key stakeholders.
- Internal Onboarding- live and online. Maintain, develop, and update online LMS onboarding program
- Meetings And Tradeshows: Support Tradeshow education events and any strategic meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, aesthetician or similar license preferred
- 3+ years education/training work experience required — ideal candidate should have relevant experience in medical skincare, professionally dispensed products, retail, e-comm and/or international brand marketing. Pharmaceutical, aesthetics or medical marketing experience considered, experience in sales a plus
- Proven track record in developing educational program content and conducting training
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 40% domestically.
- Must possess a flexible, adaptable attitude, with openness to an evolving environment and international cultures.
- Strong collaborative and influencing skills are essential to work with cross-functional teams.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Organizational skills to proactively manage time and meet deadlines.
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 plus yearly bonus and full benefits
