About The Role & Team

As part of the Disney Experiences (DX) Global PR team, the Influencer Communications Specialist is responsible for the execution of influencer programs. This role is part of a specialized bi-coastal team that works closely with partners across the DX segment to elevate stories among key advocates and content creators.

What You Will Do


  • Implement creative tactical programming for Disney Signature Experiences and Disney Consumer Products initiatives, including seasonal campaigns, new products, and target segments. Provide support for other DX segment businesses, as needed
  • Cultivate relationships with creator contacts through proactive outreach, regular communication, and when applicable, on-site hosting
  • Assist with activation planning and on-site hosting, supporting immersive creator content opportunities for individual experiences, meet-ups, and large-scale events
  • Support execution of segment-led tentpole programs, including Disney Creators Lab and Disney Creators Celebration
  • Discover new creator contacts and contribute to the team’s expanding network of influencers
  • Report on campaign/project results and leverage data/metrics to provide valuable insights
  • Stay apprised of emerging social media features/trends and lean into platform-specific programming and content opportunities for target creators


Required Qualifications & Skills


  • 2+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, and/or Influencer Marketing
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, with strong administrative and time management skills
  • Excellent writing and storytelling, presentation, and research skills, with an understanding of how to optimally communicate to different audiences
  • Experience managing projects and campaign initiatives with an understanding of overarching goals, objectives, and relevant considerations
  • A strategic attitude and flair for innovative thinking
  • A teammate who loves working collaboratively on projects and isn’t afraid to share “blue sky” ideas
  • Flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while paying close attention to detail

  • An appreciation for the Disney brand and understanding of the many global businesses represented within Disney Experiences
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed


Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

The hiring range for this position in California is $77,100.00-$103,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
