  • This is a hybrid role that will require the employee to be on-site at our Ft. Mill, SC office potentially 2 days a week**


Job Overview:

The Product Integration Experience team provides centralized business management services and project management support to LPL’s Wealth Management Solutions team, consisting of Investment Product Management, Advisory Platforms, Retirement Partners, Research and Strategic Partners.

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to join the Business Management team. In this role you will be responsible for business storytelling and content creation for the department. As a key member of the business management team, you will be responsible for simplifying complex concepts and transforming them into engaging and easily understandable content for clients and our organization to consume. Your expertise in storytelling and PowerPoint skills will be crucial in creating impactful Executive meeting materials and client-facing content, including promotional material at client conferences and client resource center. Responsibilities:

  • Consult with investment product and platform subject matter experts and technical professionals to distill complex concepts and information into compelling stories that resonate with clients and executives.
  • Enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of content, including the creation of PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate key messages, calls to action, business performance, and enhanced understanding.
  • Make recommendations on areas of opportunity to make department content and storytelling more effective. For example, by developing and maintaining a library of templates, graphics, and visual assets to be used in presentations and other content materials.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assist in the development and execution of content strategies to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.
  • Partner with Business Management Content Manager to ensure accuracy and relevance of content that aligns with LPL standards and the department content governance model.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure improved content experience for stakeholders by understanding their needs, building strong relationships across wealth management to showcase your skillset, gathering feedback, and addressing content-related concerns and requests.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a content creator, designer, writer, or similar role
  • 2+ years storytelling, with the capability to simplify complex concepts and engage audiences across various levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with business and industry-related topics, with the ability to collaborate with experts to translate their knowledge into compelling stories


Core Competencies:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive change and communication plans.
  • Strong organizational, change management, and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in creating client-facing content, including promotional materials for conferences and events.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to ask good questions.


Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio highlighting storytelling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Prior Financial Services experience and understanding of Wealth Management business.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with prompt writing (AI use cases, search queries, etc.)


Pay Range:

$74,680-$112,020/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
