Content Creator and Marketing Specialist (Food Industry)

Our client serves as a strategic partner for brands aiming to sustainably grow their direct-to-consumer business. We're seeking an energetic Social Media Marketing Manager and Content Creator with a strong grasp of industry trends. This role involves direct client communication to understand their needs, recommend value-maximizing services, and demand an organized, adaptable, and knowledgeable multitasker with robust computer and communication skills.
Successful candidates will excel in communication, display a passion for client relations, and prioritize enhancing the client experience while meeting deadlines. Effective account management is the primary focus and responsibility at the outset.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a lead point of contact for specific client accounts
- Work with client teams to understand client goals and objectives for desired media mix
- Assist with copywriting, managing, scheduling, posting, and community engagement across clients’ social media channels
- Provide social media monthly recaps
- Provide support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs
- Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Handling negotiations and complaints
- Maintain highly organized client accounts
- Work with Food Steez to help develop content strategies for client accounts.
- Understanding the startup environment, its pace, and the ability to pivot quickly
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends.
- Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience
- Assist with drafting presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
- Managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
- Ability to shoot on iPhone and edit basic Instagram Reels and TikToks, following current trends and styles
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience in another related area of study
- 4+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising experience
- Experience working with restaurants and/or food brands, understanding the landscape and trends of the food and beverage industry
- Experience with G Suite products: Google Sheets, Slides, Documents, etc.
- Experience with social media platforms
- Experience with social media scheduling platforms (i.e. Dash Hudson)
- Experience building and designing pitch and marketing decks
- Experience with graphic design
- Demonstrated interest in digital media, and understanding of branded content and social platforms
- Excellent ability to lead
- 4 years of experience in a similar field

Salary & Benefits
- This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
- The position is immediately available.
- Hybrid.
- Monday through Friday
- Base Salary $60k - $70k /year
