Reporting to the Senior Global Brand Manager, the Global Social Media Manager /Associate Manager will lead social media and content strategy development for Masimo Consumer’s highest growth category – consumer health. The individual in this role will bring passion and expertise in social media, and can apply this knowledge to create, curate, engage and grow the Masimo Consumer Health business and its brand through social engagement. They are on pop culture and trends, understanding what appeals to people (and algorithms). They will be brief owners; ensuring the brand’s strategic direction is at the forefront of every initiative, big and small, and united across all communication platforms. This individual will partner cross-functionally with global markets and Masimo Consumer’s shared services groups (Creative Services, PR, DTC, Legal and GTM), as well as external agency partners, to ensure outstanding and timely execution of all social media marketing initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Develop an integrated social content strategy across platforms that with detailed KPI goals broken out by platform, driving sustained follower growth and high engagement
- Lead strategy and content development across platforms, utilizing multiple sources (from creating content yourself to working with production teams, third party creators, UGC and influencers) to create a consistent and distinctive online presence
- Oversee the strategy and execution of influencer programs for product launches and sustaining brand awareness efforts, collaborating with the PR and regional marketing teams
- Have a finger on the pulse of today’s ever-changing social media landscape and inform internal teams of important changes, shifts and/or opportunities.
- Be a natural content creator, with a passion for storytelling and concept creation that marry the brand messages with what is culturally relevant and will engage consumers on social
- Draft monthly content calendar briefs to be delivered to the agency ahead of each month, review and provide feedback on monthly content calendars
- Utilize third-party software to plan content and manage conversations with our followers and consumers
- Oversee monthly and quarterly social media reporting and have an understanding on leveraging data to inform strategies and content
- Implement content sharing process with international counterparts, collaborate with counterparts on key initiatives
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (in marketing or related field)
- 3-5+ years of social media management
- Experience with influencers and partner management
Additional / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer tech or med tech across fitness, wellness, health, conditions, and telehealth
- Launched at least one brand that either disrupted or created a category
- Experience with premium products
- Global experience

- Along with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail, the candidate must have in-depth social media experience (including use of third-party social management tools) and a proven history of growing social audiences

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships with multiple internal departments and external partners

- Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Start-up mentality with comfort in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats, and collaborating with different micro-cultures within the broader organization
- Passionate about purpose-led brands – especially in health, wellness and fitness – and obsessed with the consumer experience
