Senior Paid Social Content Creator
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Paid Social Content Creator with an extensive background in direct response performance marketing. This role is perfect for someone who understands the nuances of online video content creation, driving low CAC/CPA, and the power of direct response marketing. You will be responsible for writing, producing, editing, and optimizing video content specifically for our digital channels (including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube), focusing on direct response video ads that drive immediate action and deliver measurable results.
This is a soup-to-nuts role, where you will do everything from conception to completion. As a direct response marketer, you will be at the forefront of our digital video advertising campaigns. Your role is pivotal in crafting compelling video content that not only resonates with our target audience, but also prompts them to take immediate conversion action.
The person in this role should have expertise in setting up a creative machine that can output a large amount of content. This role will set up a feedback loop between creative production and media buyers to continuously improve ad performance and take a data-driven approach to creative ideation and testing.
Responsibilities
- Script, develop, produce, and edit digital video ads with voiceover and audio tracks, supporting direct response marketing strategies.
- Work with and manage external talent/actors to produce video content.
- Utilize direct response storytelling and editing techniques to create video ads that drive conversion using proven frameworks (for example: hook the audience, introduce the problem, elaborate on the issue, introduce a solution, show social proof, explain the value proposition, and end with a strong call to action)
- Analyze ad performance metrics to understand which ads are working and which aren’t. Use these insights to create a feedback loop that optimizes content production and testing for better conversion. Report on these findings to management.
- Manage the end-to-end production process for video content, from concept development and script writing to post-production and publishing.
- Stay up to date with digital advertising trends, direct response marketing techniques, and video trends on social media.
Qualifications
- 6 years’ experience in video creation, post-production, and motion graphics experience across multiple platforms/channels required, 8 or more years preferred.
- 5 years’ experience at an advertising agency or production company production experience preferred - specifically in a high-volume studio or agency production operations.
- 5 years’ managing projects and deadlines to ensure successful execution of consumer marketing campaigns.
- Relevant portfolio required to demonstrate experience and prior campaigns/advertising content.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in producing and editing video content for paid digital performance advertising.
- Proven analytical ability to digest data and turn insights into actionable creative strategy that drives growth.
- Proven experience in direct response marketing (specifically with online video advertising on platforms like Meta, YouTube, and TikTok).
- Ability to write compelling scripts that drive conversion.
- Strong understanding of online video content strategies
- Understanding of how to navigate ad platforms and see creative performance metrics.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Creative thinker with excellent storytelling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
- Experience with motion graphics and video animation.
- Experience in analogous businesses that are known for their direct response advertising techniques like, for example: dietary supplements, insurance, and fitness programs.
- On-camera comfort: while not mandatory, being comfortable in front of the camera is a desirable trait. Willingness to appear in video content as needed.
- Bilingual: candidates that can work with content in both English and Spanish are strongly preferred.

Compensation Information
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $107,000 to $129,000.
