Social marketing and community engagement role for all CHD brands is a critical leadership role to deliver relevant, and contextual brand experiences in digital ecosystem grounded in meaningful, differentiated product benefits and features to driver awareness, conversion, and sales. This role is responsible for looking at end to end social media activation for both paid and organic, partner with major AORs like Razorfish, Wavemaker and several boutique agencies as well as partners like TikTok, YouTube, Meta etc. A team of over 10 subject matter experts will reports to this role help delivering on social marketing critical success factors across CHD brands.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead all social media and influencer marketing Initiatives to create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across all social channels across the CHD portfolio.
  • Own the entirety of Church and Dwight social media strategy, including driving best-in-class content, community management, social listening, organic and paid social media.
  • Implement activities and initiatives to enable delivery of highly personalized digital content at scale to increase conversion throughout the marketing funnel.
  • Lead social community of practice across CHD brands to increase brand engagement through storytelling with compelling digital content and foster positive sentiment via appropriately intersecting organic social conversations.
  • Collaborate with E-Commerce and DTC teams in terms of social commerce related launches, activation, and measurement both on retail platforms like Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.Com, DTC channels and on core social platforms like TikTok, Meta, Instagram and emerging channels.
  • Collaborate closely with customer experience and in-house design team to create dynamic and visually appealing social media content, including copy, graphics, and video leveraging up coming tech such as AI.
  • Coach and develop Social Media Manager and Coordinator team and upskill talent across digital, marketing, and broader commercial teams to drive impact from social commerce, social media, livestreaming etc.
  • Work in a forward looking and future ready manner for social as a key enabler for CHD brands.
  • Work with an attitude of a disruptive creator and be able to lean in and test and learn new areas, scale up and scale down as needed.
  • Work closely with Media and Measurement team on overall investment in social areas and continually optimize towards key performance indicators that are most relevant within the categories we play in.
  • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring social media success, including setting key metrics, measurement, and optimization strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to acquire new customers utilizing paid search, organic search, and social media search.
  • Establish the approach for Paid Search activations, inclusive of defining the objectives & KPIs, target consumers, digital channel mix, and key words tactic.
  • Develop and execute effective paid search campaigns in line with brand strategy, overseeing and guiding execution such as ad group structure, keyword strategy, and budgeting etc as well as reporting on the performance of all paid search advertising.
  • Create and nurture “Out of the box” and “disruptor” mindset within her/his team combined with appreciation and respect for the rich legacy of over 170 years at Church and Dwight
  • Be a social evangelist at Church and Dwight, helping influence the adoption of, and enthusiasm for, social media across the company, keeping atop emerging technologies and trends.

Education And Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must have a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital marketing.
  • A seasoned leader with 7 years of experience in managing a social media agenda for large consumer brands.
  • Must have minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading team.
  • Experience in MarTech tools such as social listening, customer data platforms, voice of customer, email service providers, marketing automation, personalization engines, content management, and consumer journey orchestration.
  • Have demonstrated independent, strategic, and creative thinking while being a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
  • Leveraged analytical mindset to understand digital marketing landscape and influencer marketing.
