will you be doing?
We are seeking a writer with B2B content creation experience to reinforce a fresh, conversational, and professional voice for the organization and develop high-quality content across owned and paid media. The Content Creator, reporting to our head of Marketing Thought Leadership and Content, will work within our Marketing teams globally and across much of the business to develop engaging content that demonstrates our unique position in the market including our industry expertise and our understanding of the complete consumer. This role will create content for various thought leadership, branding, and product initiatives including industry reports, campaigns, sales enablement programs, events, and more.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and launch marketing content that directly supports our business objectives.
- Write long- and short-form content including but not limited to industry reports, bylines and other articles, blogs, newsletters, infographics, social media copy, website copy, landing pages, digital and print ads, video scripts, podcast guides, event communications, and other marketing and sales thought leadership content.
- Serve as a ghostwriter for industry experts across the organization.
- Make appropriate content recommendations that directly tie into overall communications strategy and goals based on a keen understanding of relevant industry trends and client needs.
- Collaborate across internal teams to determine how, when, and what types of content to use to meet campaign objectives.
- Understand competitive content and positioning for relevant topics.
- Support research on relevant industry topics when needed.
- Monitor digital engagement metrics for published content and identify areas to refine/improve.
- Proofread and edit various types of content.
- Project management including communicating project status, timing, and other important info to internal teams.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of copywriting experience in dynamic B2B environments.
- BA/MA degree in Writing, English, Communications, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Well-versed in AP writing style.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Ability to write under deadlines.
- Previous experience writing for technology, analytics, advertising and/or market research companies.
- Previous experience working closely with creative, web, and video teams to create and refine content to align with visual and/or template requirements.
- Ability to quickly learn technical information and distill it into easy-to-understand concepts for various audiences.
- Experience using project management applications such as Wrike or Monday.com is a plus.
