Job Overview:



Bubble is on the hunt for a Content Creator. At Bubble, everything we do is created thoughtfully with our community and audience in mind—we strive to inspire and bring joy everywhere we show up. Social is the voice of the brand, and in this role your goal will be to create entertaining, engaging content for our passionate audience and community members. You'll play a crucial role in educating about products, introducing new products to the world, and regularly finding new, dynamic, and innovative ways to connect with our audience. The content creator thinks of Tiktok, Youtube, and Instagram as a digital playground, seeking out relevant trends as they're happening, developing innovative ideas to translate those trends to the brand. In this role, you will collaborate with social, creative, community, retail, and product teams, working alongside a team of writers, art directors, and social coordinators. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the Content Creator is responsible for the brand's image. The Content Creator will sit between the social and creative teams, and will report to the Art Director.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Storytelling: Multi-faceted candidate who uses image, and editing tools to tell compelling stories
  • Idea generation: You love to come up with ideas, and you're able to bring wild-yet-achievable creative thoughts to the table. Ideas should generate opportunities to impact culture, inspire our audience, and transcend Bubble's limited creative budget through potential virality.
  • Self-starter: Meet quick turnaround deadlines, proactively create content to be able to jump onto trends before they've peaked.
  • Experimental: You're not afraid to try new techniques, ways of working, and types of content.
  • Collaborative spirit: Must have excellent communication skills, giving ideas freely. You're not afraid of feedback that will push your work to be more entertaining or more on-brand.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understand when to be super entertaining, and when we may need to flex our educational muscles. The content creator should strive to think beyond a video or image, adapting their own content sensibilities to fit the personality of the brand.
  • Technical skills: Shoot and edit impactful iphone videos and images for TikTok, Youtube, and Instagram. Use tools such as CapCut, the Adobe Suite and Figma.
  • Obsessed with social: An expert who has the pulse on content trends for Tiktok, instagram, Youtube, and whatever platform will pop up next.
  • Vision: Find new and innovative ways to connect with our audience through videos and images
  • Comfortable in Chaos: Bubble is a startup, and our work is often full of The people who thrive at Bubble are the ones who are curious, proactive, and imaginative.

Expectations & Qualifications:



  • 0-4+ years of experience working in fast-paced beauty, startup, or agency environments
  • An updated portfolio with relevant work examples
  • Proficiency in CapCut, the Adobe Suite and Figma
  • Excellent communication skills, both through digital tools or IRL
  • Ability to work in the NYC office 2-3 days per week
