Content Creator (+ motion graphics and animating ability)

Role Summary:

As a Content Creator at alma, you will spearhead the development and execution of impactful social media strategies aligned with our brand and marketing goals. Your focus will be on creating compelling content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, fostering an engaged online community, and ensuring consistency across channels. Proficiency in motion graphics, editing, and shooting is essential, along with adaptability to new software tools and project directions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
  • Ideate, create, and curate engaging content for social media platforms to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Manage digital campaign production, contributing strong conceptual thinking and content creation skills.
  • Execute comprehensive social media strategies, curating engaging content across platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Monitor social media trends and foster an engaged online community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for improved reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Work closely with the Content & Experience Team to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into video projects and align with creative direction.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in creating digital content and social media management, including a deep understanding of their content requirements.
  • Strong eye for design, composition, and layout, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Experience in creating and editing animated content (e.g., GIFs) using software like Photoshop and After Effects, as well as experience in motion graphics and animation.
  • Strong content creation skills across photography, videography, editing, and writing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail and creativity in content creation.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools to measure and interpret performance metrics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and positive approach to problem solving and an ability to adapt to evolving trends and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for social media, pop-culture, and trends.
