Community Activation Manager
The Community Activation Manager at 5.11 will lead the charge in activating our community through innovative strategies encompassing influencer partnerships, ambassador programs, and community engagement initiatives. This role is pivotal in expanding the brand's footprint and fostering deep, meaningful connections within the tactical and outdoor enthusiast communities. The successful candidate will exhibit a unique blend of creative vision, strategic planning, and exceptional leadership skills to guide the Community Marketing team in achieving exceptional growth and engagement for the brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive community activation strategies that align with the brand's objectives, focusing on building a strong, engaged community and enhancing brand loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Manage the Community Marketing team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful execution of community activation initiatives.
- Partnership and Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key community influencers, partners, and brand ambassadors to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Event Management and Activation: Oversee the planning and execution of brand events, activations, and community gatherings, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and brand ethos.
- Content and Campaign Coordination: Work closely with the marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all community activation campaigns and content.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly review and analyze the effectiveness of community activation efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet and exceed KPIs.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for community activation initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve the best possible ROI.
- Crisis Management: Proactively address and manage any community-related issues or crises, maintaining the brand's reputation and trust within the community.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in community engagement and activation, incorporating new ideas and technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of the tactical and outdoor markets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication with all internal and external stakeholders regarding community activation strategies, plans, and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 5+ years' experience in community management, influencer marketing, event management, or related field, with a proven track record of success in community activation and team leadership.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentorship, development, and driving results.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to pivot strategies based on evolving market trends and brand objectives.
- Industry Passion: A genuine passion and understanding of 5.11’s community's values and interests.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

Pay Range: $95,000 - $115,000 plus bonus based on experience
