Location: Portland
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, M - F
Reports to: Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships
Salary: $43,000 - $53,650 – depending on experience

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for creating impactful digital content across all spectrums that convey the agency’s messages to various targeted audiences by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
Create high-quality visual content for the in-house marketing and communications team consistent with organization branding.
Leverage the latest technology and trends in visual content creation to tell stories that connect with audiences across all digital platforms and print materials.
Collaborate with other departments to craft unified, cohesive visual narratives and messaging across mediums, utilizing photo, video, and graphic design to share unforgettable and impactful organizational stories.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Create high-quality digital content for the in-house marketing and communications team consistent with organization branding.
Leverage the latest technology and trends in digital content creation to tell stories that connect with audiences across all digital platforms and print materials.
Collaborate with other departments to craft unified, cohesive visual narratives and messaging across mediums, utilizing photo, video, and graphic design to share unforgettable and impactful organizational stories.
Aids with the implementation of the annual communication and marketing plan.
Assists with events, event planning, messaging, creating, and designing visual collateral for fundraising and community events.
Supports team with graphic design, contributes to the agency’s photo and video library, and participates in strategic brainstorming.
Contributes to regular updates of high-quality photographs and videos for the website, social media, and print materials
Provides social media channels with visual content as needed.
Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
Respectfully takes direction from manager.

Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or GED, currently seeking a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a closely related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior relevant experience with a nonprofit organization is preferred.
