The Director of Global Marketing & Growth in Arxada’s Home and Personal Care business will be responsible for the strategy and commercial activities for Home Care and Biotech Personal Care Bioactives Segments. The position will work closely with multiple functions including Sales, Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Regulatory, R&D, Communications, and outside agencies and vendors to effectively develop and execute key commercial activities to support business objectives. The position will have direct reports. The position will report to Head of Marketing Home and Personal care Business. We will consider international locations in addition to the US; UK, EU, LATAM.
Essential Job Functions:
Will lead marketing activities and team for Home Care and Biotech Personal Care segments for key global markets NA, Asia, EU and LATAM.
Develop an integrated business and marketing plan. Implement product and go-to-market plan amidst significant marketplace competition.
Lead and develop segment strategy, 3-5year Strategic Growth Plan for business segment and translate into actionable operating plans and own the deliverables.
Accountable for delivering sales and margin budgets in Home Care and Biotech segment.
Create and prioritize Innovation pipeline/ideas, lead New Product development (NPD) and launches in collaboration with R&D. Owns the commercial success of product launches.
Develop and execute marketing communication activities by working closely and providing direction to marcom teams/vendors to generate leads, customer advocacy and business growth.
Work closely with commercial excellence and strategy teams to implement sales and marketing excellence processes in the business.
Provide performance forecasts and management updates throughout the year.
Integrate sustainability principles into growth and strategy initiatives to ensure alignment with Arxada’s environmental and social responsibility goals.
Identify and Lead core businesses growth programs, exploring adjacent spaces, and innovating new business models to fuel growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Undergraduate degree (BS) - Chemistry and Biochemistry degrees Preferred. MBA Preferred.
A minimum of 15 years business experience (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, etc) of which 10+ years demonstrated marketing, customer and cross functional team management and proven performance.
Growth Driven, Business development skill sets and has demonstrated growing a business globally by assessing new growth opportunities and finding new revenue streams along with managing customer relationships.
Home Care, Personal Care Experience required. Preservation chemistry and Biotech experience Preferred.
Must have a demonstrated track record of strong leadership capabilities with ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
Deal and contract negotiation expertise
Candidate owns the outcome, demonstrates agility, is creative, proactive, brings other experts into planning and decision making, has strong analytical skill sets with excellent overall business acumen.
Ability to build effective teams that work well across functions and groups.
This position requires up to 20% travel.
