Job Description About The Position

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Content Writer & Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting compelling written content, planning and executing social media strategies, and managing a team of talented writers. You will work closely with graphic designers, and larger digital marketing team to ensure that written content complements visual designs, creating a cohesive and engaging brand message across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Writing and Strategy
  • Research and write high-quality, engaging articles and content for various channels including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and more.
  • Develop content strategies that align with the company's brand voice and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate ideas for new content.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search results.
  • Social Media Management
  • Plan and execute a social media calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and company goals.
  • Create and schedule daily posts for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other relevant social media channels.
  • Monitor social media trends and leverage them to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Engage with the audience by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Analyze performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration with Designers
  • Work closely with graphic designers to create compelling written content for visual assets like infographics, social media graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure a consistent message across both written and visual content.
  • Team Management
  • Manage a team of freelance writers, ensuring a high standard of written content.
  • Provide clear briefs, deadlines, and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Oversee content production workflow to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a content writer, social media manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio of published work.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Experience with SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing freelancers or a content team.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into engaging content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and the ability to work closely with creative professionals.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies and how content supports these strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
