Responsibilities

The Engagement Manager is accountable for managing all aspects of the day-to-day activities of a marketing engagement, internal or external, including but not limited to:

Lead & Manage Client Engagements:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing engagement strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Secure the right internal talent to deliver exceptional project results.
  • Oversee all project activities, ensuring deliverables are met or exceeded, on time, and within budget.
  • Foster a positive and growth-oriented environment for assigned team members, providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Manage client relationships, proactively addressing requests, concerns, and exceeding expectations.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with clients, keeping them informed and gathering valuable feedback.

Drive Project Success:

  • Translate client needs and contract deliverables into actionable work plans for the team.
  • Implement effective project management methodologies and tools to ensure smooth execution.
  • Establish clear metrics and dashboards to track progress and measure project success.
  • Manage the marketing engagement budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum return on investment (ROI).

Champion Aspiration Marketing:

  • Promote and embody the agency's values, policies, and best practices across all client interactions.
  • Leverage internal and external training opportunities to enhance team capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements

Core Qualifications:

  • Client Champion: A demonstrated passion for building strong relationships and exceeding client expectations.
  • Strategic Thinker: Experience developing and managing client engagement strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Marketing Savvy: A solid understanding of core marketing principles and best practices across various channels.
  • Tech-Adept: Proficiency in Google Workspace and a working knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, CRM, CMS).

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Clear Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas, manage expectations, and build trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Diversity Champion: Communicating and collaborating effectively with diverse clients and colleagues.

Additional Considerations:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, etc.) is a plus.
  • Remote work capability with access to reliable internet, computer, and video conferencing equipment is essential.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment is preferred.
  • Start-up experience is a valuable asset.
