Consultant - Influencer, Creator Marketing Content
Purpose
APR is an established content marketing production consulting company with a modern, global view of the advertising industry. We are currently seeking a Consultant – Influencer, Creator Marketing Content with deep expertise in the creator marketing space and the ability to evaluate social influencer campaigns, platforms, and measurement strategies for paid and organic social content. Essential duties
Overall responsibility will be client consulting on influencer, creator, and social media projects. You will serve as an expert, reviewing and evaluating costs associated with large and small creator campaigns as well as associated ancillary costs. (Ex - social listening, creator relations, content promotion, content creation, optimization of daily content, etc.) You will work with APR advisors, client marketers, and their advertising agencies/production partners to provide strategic guidance and support and define ways of working, cost benchmarks, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- ● Candidate has experience with a variety of influencer types and management: Nano, Macro, VIP, celebrity, etc. casting creator marketing mix), targeting (GenZ), etc.
- ● Support on negotiations with creators, including familiarity of E&O insurance and best practices and performance-based measurement using tiers, influencer contracts, and business affairs, and transparency in separating production costs from creative fee costs.
- ● Full understanding of influencer payment processes and transparent fee structures: platform, followers, posts, campaigns, tactics, licensing and exclusivity, and influencer agent fees. Seasonal fee bumps (holiday).
- ● Product payment vs. $USD scenarios, etc.
- ● Understanding and experience working with Celebrity and Union talent fees and Screen Actors Guild processes.
- ● Familiarity with US and Global influencer fees and benchmarks.
- ● POV on agency fees as they relate to influencers: Mark-up, Tech Fees, Production, Product Seeding, Experiential, etc.
- ● Knowledge of SEO/Search opportunities, including AI, which boosts engagement and views.
- ● Understanding of how platform strategy impacts both ROI and fees.
- ● Ability to review and advise ROI Frameworks/performance-based KPIs based on benchmarks and experience.
- ● Knowledge and understanding of influencer marketing end-to-end solutions services such as Traackr, Creator IQ, Grin, etc. to include influencer identification, content approval, performance and competitive analysis, and business affairs.
- ● Experience with multiple formats: in-platform live shopping (frictionless) and live streaming/virtual events, social channels acting as digital storefronts.
- ● Experience with multiple platforms: Immersive, web3, metaverse, NFTs, gaming, twitch, WhatsApp, YouTube, and content creator subscription services (TikTok, Meta, X, etc.) AR filters, VR platforms, and virtual products.
- ● General understanding of the production process: agency-led and influencer-led.
- ● Knowledge of current FTC guidelines and global equivalents.
- ● Knowledge of content and asset usage rights and clearance (music, photo, video, meme).
- ● Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g., BrandWatch, Pulsar, Sprout, etc.
- ● Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers and act proactively, sharing knowledge with the internal APR team.
About you
- ● Mandatory: 6-10 years working with an influencer agency.
- ● Proven experience managing or overseeing successful influencer campaigns.
- ● Expert knowledge of social media platforms, influencer trends, and measurement strategies.
- ● Outgoing personality, engaging, collaborative, self-aware and diplomatic, free from ego. Able to quickly read a room.
- ● Ability to impact, influence, and guide others on projects that are critically important.
- ● Strong critical thinking skills.
- ● Multitasking and analytics skills.
- ● Verbally articulate; excellent writing skills.
- ● Strong computational skills, including computer proficiency (Internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Skype, Zoom, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
- ● Independent, self-motivated, passionate, and able to complete work without daily supervision.
- ● Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels.
- ● Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g., BrandWatch, Pulsar, Sprout, etc.
- ● Familiarity with paid and organic social.
- ● Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- ● Ability to work in a quiet home office.
- ● Must be able to work independently.
- ● Work is completed in a standard office environment or remotely.
- ● Sitting approximately 90% of the time and working at a computer 90% of the time.
- ● Ability to work on computers, including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the workday.
- ● Ability to vary workday and location as needed, based on the needs of APR staff nationally, globally, and associated meetings.
