About The Role
We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and experienced Community Manager to join our dynamic, high-growth company. This position will be based in our Los Angeles (West Hollywood) office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications.
e.l.f.’s new Community Manager will be a hard-working, beauty-obsessed individual who eats, breathes and lives social to join our growing team. They will surprise, delight, and inspire each person who touches our brand by fostering one-to-one relationships across our social media handles.
The best candidates will embrace e.l.f.’s dynamic culture of executing with speed and quality to drive solutions. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of experience and a deep understanding of social media platforms. They must be willing to creatively go above and beyond in each interaction, serving as the knowledgeable beauty bestie to brand fans and influencers alike. Our consumers are the heart of our business, and the Community Manager will be on the front lines each day, spreading the e.l.f. love and nurturing and growing our community of beauty enthusiasts.

Responsibilities
Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements
- Interact with and respond to questions, comments, and concerns across all e.l.f. Cosmetics social channels
- Partner with Customer Service team to address any consumer product and order issues
- Engage daily on UGC and influencer posts
- Identify surprise and delight moments and foster e.l.f.’s community of loyalists
- Serve as a key leader in e.l.f.’s consumer feedback model; sharing consumer social comments internally and working collaboratively with Innovation, Marketing, and Creative to inform future efforts
- Assist team members with brainstorming and strategy meetings to increase engagement and aid efficiencies
- Track and measure social media engagement and growth
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in managing communities
- A clear, clever written communicator with a passion and knowledge for beauty: you are the first to know about new beauty launches, follow influencers for the latest looks, and can teach someone how to nail the perfect wing with fail-proof tips
- Knowledgeable of all social media platforms and methods of communication on these platforms
- Ability to juggle multiple conversations and solve problems efficiently and thoughtfully
- Must be willing to work some weekends
