Influencer Marketing Strategist

Position Summary

The Influencer Marketing Strategist is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of influencer marketing campaigns. This position recruits, onboards, and activates influencers to successfully create content on behalf of National University. The Influencer Marketing Strategist is also responsible for executing influencer marketing strategy including communication plans, campaign management, content creation, and moderation. This position reports to the Influencer Marketing Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Work with the influencer marketing manager to plan and execute creative influencer-based campaigns
  • Identify, recruit, negotiate with, and contract influencers
  • Handle day-to-day communication with influencers
  • Build and maintain outstanding relationships with a broad range of Influencers – from top-tier to nano
  • Research and network to identify appropriate strategic alliances/partnerships
  • Manage influencer campaigns, contract negotiations, strategy briefing, and content deliverables
  • Maintain monthly KPI reports
  • Manage content calendars
  • Update and maintain the influencer database
  • Screen influencer content, provide feedback, and monitor influencer activity
  • Manage the influencer onboarding process to create a seamless experience
  • Analyze outcomes to fine tune our efforts, share regular reports, and modify content based on outcomes
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor social activity
  • Leverage social to successfully drive organizational objectives and increase brand awareness and user engagement

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ year marketing experience required


Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Experienced with identifying, recruiting, and onboarding talent
  • Experienced in building a network of influencers and maintaining successful relationships with influencers and their managers
  • Experienced in understanding the nuances of multiple influencer platforms and the strategies to make the most of each one
  • Adept at strategic planning and execution with higher level marketing goals in mind
  • Preferably fluent in Spanish and English
  • Comfortable with the repetitive nature of influencer marketing tasks
  • Knowledge of social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of correct artwork dimensions for each social channel, ideal file types and best practices
  • Knowledge of GRIN, CreatorIQ, or similar influencer marketing tools
  • Knowledge of mass media law, FTC and copyright law
  • Knowledge of all laws and regulations as it applies to social media and influencer marketing
  • Knowledge of latest social media and influencer marketing trends and developments
  • Knowledge of all social media channels as well as ideal artwork dimensions

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency. Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $66,560.00 - $75,427.00
