The Work

We are a B2B agency with a strong focus in technology and telecom where you'll have the chance to contribute from hyper-focused tactics to omni-channel campaigns.

You will be the hands-on lead for the copywriting team to achieve a strategy or vision cast with our clients and Marketing Directors. The focus is on problem solving, mentoring the team, and contributing to output more than on managing workload.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct report staff writers and outside contractors
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure fulfillment of copywriting needs for projects
  • Mentor and lead the content team in the craft of business marketing writing in multiple formats (ads, email, web, social, long form, etc)
  • Build and maintain a standard of high writing quality
  • Contribute to the development of content/writing processes to efficiently achieve quality
  • Identify use cases for existing and new tools available to aid in writing (e.g. best use of Generative AI)
  • Enforcing work standards and processes team wide
  • Monitoring overall writing team capacity and recommend staffing/resources/tools to handle inbound load from project managers
  • Participate in writing content
  • Accountable for writing state-of-the-art and AMC's capabilities relative to it

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of marketing agency & writing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical education (professionals with marketing communications or journalism education will be given preference)
  • Two or more successful years managing direct reports
