This position is eligible for remote work. This role will have occasional on site expectations.
The Social Community and Content Specialist will manage our online social media communities and support daily social media monitoring to enhance brand visibility and increase customer engagement This position will also create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay current with industry trends to ensure our brand maintains a strong presence in the digital landscape.
Essential Duties
- Collaborate with team and cross-functionally to create strategies for social channels to deliver against key business, brand, and social objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for customer comments, responding promptly to maintain positive brand image.
- Manage and moderate social media communities across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tiktok for each brand under Beyond, Inc.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our online community, fostering meaningful interactions and relationships with followers, and curating and maintaining a unique brand persona and voice for each brand.
- Collaborate with the influencer marketing to source potential partners, respond to influencer inquiries and monitor incoming influencer created assets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new features, and emerging platforms.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance social media presence.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure social media efforts align with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Serve as SME for effective tactics and feedback from customers through social listening.
- Engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Participate in strategy for community management to connect and build a community of fans.
- Track, analyze, and optimize social efforts and metrics; prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and inform future strategies.
- Develop plans for social media giveaways and sweepstakes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Serve as social media point of contact with all third-party brand partnerships, including supporting the partnerships by engaging with, sharing, and posting relevant content.
- Utilize project management tools/software to effectively plan, organize, and track social media projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain flexibility with working hours, as there will be an occasional need for availability during evenings or weekends to address community needs and engagement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of social media platforms, marketing, and content creation, as well as search engine optimization.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in social media data analysis tools and techniques.
- Ability to create and deliver creative content.
- Ability to develop and maintain audience relationships.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent.
- 2 years of professional experience, including social media marketing, preferably within a retail or similar industry.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires little to moderate physical activity, with the ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, store visits, or training sessions.
Work Environment:
Work will primarily be in an office environment, collaborating with colleagues both in-person and virtually. This role may involve occasional interactions with employees in various locations, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
