Position Overview
- This position is responsible for direct support of the Sr. Brand Director, Marketing Associate, and PR Associate in coordination, communication and production of SANDRO North America marketing, events, and public relations initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
MARKETING
- Collaborate across departments to create, distribute, and support the execution of full-price and promotional messaging for retail, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, and PR initiatives.
- Vendor invoice submission and tracking
- Compile 360° marketing recaps for seasonal marketing activations
- Partner with the Marketing Associate to define and implement client-facing and VIP/Influencer event strategies across relevant markets.
- Receive, facilitate, and evaluate all field local marketing requests.
- Set up marketing actions to automate discounts and promotions in-store.
- Assist Marketing Associate in developing and executing digital strategy with department store partners (HBC, Bloomingdales, Saks, Nordstrom)
- Collaborate with the digital team to ensure brand consistency across digital communications, including e-commerce, social media, and email marketing.
- Assist in briefing the freelance design team for any in-store or digital assets needed throughout each season.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Support PR Associate with implementing the earned media strategy, including VIP/KOL and Media, linking it with broader marketing and business strategy and in line with global teams based in Paris.
- Manage day-to-day press requests for North American editorial outlets and celebrity dressing opportunities.
- Lead seasonal sample orders from HQ to support VIP & KOL dressing/gifting.
- General sample management and organization of the PR closet with Fashion GPS.
- Assist and coordinate strategic influencer gifting, seeding, paid campaigns, events, and activations.
- Maintain all master contact lists.
- Track all monthly placements, including long-lead and short-lead credits, celebrity and social placements.
- Lead monthly reporting requirements related to PR (weekly recaps, quarterly reports, event-specific recaps, etc.)
Who You Are
- 1-2 years of experience in Fashion retail.
- 1-2 years’ experience in 360° Marketing Coordination and PR Coordination (in-house and/or agency)
- Contacts and relations with relevant press, talents, and leaders in fashion.
- Proven success designing and executing marketing & communications strategies and campaigns.
- Must be able to think analytically and strategically.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve.
- Capable of working well as part of a team and independently.
- Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva experience is a plus.
- Must be able to be on your feet for a few hours and carry up to 25lbs.
- Must be able to commute to the New York City office at least 3x a week.
- Ability to read, write, or speak French is a plus.
