Job Brief:The Director of Partnership Growth is responsible for enriching relationships with partners, affiliates, and influencers through all phases of their relationship with Bark. This role involves prospecting for new opportunities, onboarding, and maintaining partner engagement, ultimately leading to revenue growth.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in managing relationships and serving as a liaison between a brand and its partners.
- Ability to confidently communicate the product’s value propositions to set expectations and negotiate contracts.
- Proven track record of identifying, prospecting, and acquiring affiliates.
- Familiarity with thought leaders in the parenting and technology industry.
- Proactive, resourceful, and self-directed.
- Experience managing and driving multiple sophisticated affiliate relationships and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while juggling competing priorities.
- Occasional after-hours availability.
- Optimistic and empathetic, enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
Role:
- Affiliate Prospecting: Utilize Ahrefs to identify prospective blogs, listicles, and publishers to partner with. Manage prospect pipeline in Hubspot, create outreach templates & workflows, and engage prospects.
- Affiliate Content Management: Document and update affiliate content, ensure accurate information is shared, and maintain affiliate resources.
- Nurturing Existing Affiliates: Design and maintain nurture campaigns, monitor for fraudulent activity, and create incentives for affiliates.
- Influencer Prospecting: Use Impact Marketplace, social media, 3rd party agencies, and team-surfaced creators to create a master prospect list. Engage and educate creators about Bark.
- Influencer Contract Management: Work with COO and lawyers to manage partner contracts, negotiate campaign costs, and draft agreements.
- Influencer Campaign Management: Draft creator briefs, manage logistics for hardware demos, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners on campaign tactics.
- Managing Reseller/ISP Partnerships: Educate partners on program options, lead go-to-market strategies, and provide marketing assets.
- SME Prospecting & Management: Identify subject matter experts, coordinate with Marketing for promotional materials, and negotiate agreements.
- Supporting Schools Team: Set up performance tracking for D2C efforts, answer partner portal questions, and manage promotional codes.
- Event Management: Vet and prioritize event requests, manage contracts, and coordinate internal and external communications.
- Managing Paid Publisher Placement Campaigns: Strategize prospective paid placements, coordinate contracts, and report on campaign results.
- Invoice & Payout Coordination: Review received invoices, verify billing accuracy, and forward to Accounts Payable.
- Lead Major Partner Meetings: Prepare and lead regular calls with larger affiliates and partners.
- Periodic Planning and Forecasting: Refine team goals and strategies, maintain communication on key objectives, and lead team calls.
- Manage Team Email Inboxes: Regularly check Hubspot inbox, prioritize responses, and update account contact properties.
- Impact Application Management: Review and approve incoming applications, evaluate properties for brand alignment, and maintain contact verification.
- Maintain Master List & Campaign Tracker: Document paid placements and rankings, track campaign costs and spend, and highlight contractual dates.
- Admin Tasks: Conduct regular 1x1s, update weekly status sheets, maintain Asana boards, approve time off, and conduct performance reviews.
- Keeping Up with Industry Trends: Research new strategies, meet with industry experts, and communicate insights to the Partnership team.
