Job Type: 20 hours / week through end of year, with ability to scale
Location: US Remote (must work PDT hours)
This person must have the ability to meet and conduct the majority of work during PDT work hours, regardless of location. Specific date and times to be agreed upon before onboarding.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social and Influencer Marketing Contractor with a strong TikTok focus to join our dynamic social media department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our social media marketing and TikTok influencer marketing activities to enhance brand awareness, sentiment, search, and drive ROI. Being a strong communicator and detail oriented is essential for effective collaboration in this role.
Responsibilities:
TikTok Influencer Marketing (~10 hours / week)
Primary:
- Familiarity with GRIN influencer platform or similar tool is required.
- Partner with Influencer Marketing Manager to source and build relationships with micro influencers in the beauty, skincare, haircare, and derm space to reach new audiences.
- Partner with Influencer Marketing Manager to develop influencer marketing briefs and best-in-class content ideas. Must be aware of TikTok trends and trending TikTok audios to integrate within influencer marketing campaigns.
- Place product shipments via online fulfillment platform to TikTok influencer creators.
- Own TikTok platform community management, responding to DMs, comments and interacting with TikTok influencer posts once live.
Secondary (when Time Permits):
- Proficient in understanding the paid spark ads process on TikTok or willing to learn, including acquiring Creator Spark ad codes, to ensure seamless access to creator videos approving amplification.
- While not prominent for this role, capable of measuring and reporting on the success of influencer marketing campaigns is a plus.
- While not prominent for this role, capable of negotiating contracts with influencers is a plus.
Social Media Marketing (~10 hours / week)
Primary:
- Proficient in utilizing social media scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Sprinklr to effectively manage and schedule content across major networks including TikTok and Instagram; experience with Sprinklr is a significant plus.
- Ability to source trending audios and natively posting Instagram/Facebook stories and adding interactive elements.
Secondary (when Time Permits):
- Support social team in writing social post captions across Instagram, Facebook + TikTok channels with best practices in mind.
- Support social media team with IG/FB platform community management, responding to DMs, comments + tagged posts when appropriate.
- Help develop Instagram Stories via Canva and support in content creation is a plus.
- Develop content ideas and brief UGC Creators.
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in social media management and social influencer marketing.
- Proven track record of successful influencer marketing and social media channel management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong copywriting skills, organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with social media (such as Sprinklr) and influencer platforms (such as GRIN).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with influencer marketing and social media marketing in the fashion, retail or beauty space preferred.
- Creative-minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
- Previous experience in a similar marketing role.
- Proven self-starter with the initiative to tackle projects independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
- Able to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Capable of adjusting to new challenges and changes in the workplace while maintaining high performance.
- Demonstrates creativity and resilience in finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
