Urban Outfitters is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager, specialized in Creator Relations, to join our Brand Marketing team at Urban Outfitters. This pivotal role will contribute to shaping the future of our brand, with a keen focus on fostering relationships across creators in fashion, design, entertainment, art, and beyond. You will manage and execute impactful creator marketing strategies, aimed at expanding our business, growing our community, and cultivating deep and meaningful connections with our consumers. We are looking for an individual who is forward thinking, possessing a creator-first mindset, and capable of innovating with autonomy. They must be attuned to the ever-evolving trends in consumer behavior and possess profound insights into the cultural landscape that influences creative trends, aligning seamlessly with the UO brand ethos.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and driving the execution of annual, seasonal, and monthly plans across creator marketing, ensuring seamless implementation and delivering performance analysis to inform channel and creative optimization.
  • Strategize impactful creator-led strategies that exist both online and IRL, keeping up to date with competitive research to ensure UO’s campaigns are relevant and engaging compared to industry and cultural trends.
  • Own the ideation and execution of paid creator strategies, inclusive of, but not limited to, strategy implementation and optimization, budget tracking, creative briefing, external communications, invoicing, recaps and reporting; provide best recommendations for content that will drive performance across paid and organic social.
  • Research and pitch relevant, on-brand creators, nurturing key relationships and ensuring all campaign initiatives align with UO’s brand vision and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinating collaboration and go-to-market processes with key cross-functional partners, fostering an end-to-end process with robust project management skills and continuously optimizing to drive efficiency.
  • Obsess over product narratives, marketing launches, and creator retention and gifting strategies to ensure a culturally relevant, transformative, consumer-centric approach in all marketing efforts.
  • Supporting integrated marketing approaches with a focus on channel strategy, prioritizing UO’s ecosystem.
  • Embrace a multitasking and information-seeking attitude, passionately sharing knowledge across the business with an open, positive, and empathic approach.
  • Foster a collaborative, highly creative, and progressive approach that encourages the adoption of new frameworks, templates, and ways of working.

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience leading and executing across creator management strategies,with a deep understanding of social media platforms and the creator landscapes within each.
  • Experience in a consumer facing brand (including agency experience, retail, or related industry).
  • Familiarity utilizing influencer CRM tool, Tribe Dynamics (or similar platform), to monitor campaign performance, track influencer content, and analyze insights.
  • Finger on the pulse of culture – obsessed with media landscape and cultural zeitgeist.
  • Strong mix of creative and analytical thinking; equally grounded in insights, objectives, and KPIs while driving strong creative point of view and best practices.
  • Can inspire & excite creatives to generate big and innovative ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills, persuasive and concise verbal, and written storytelling.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related creative field
