JOB DESCRIPTION

The Public Relations Coordinator must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. Position Overview

  • Ensure Tiffany is held to the highest standards & brand positioning across all PR activities for North America (NA) and LATAM region
  • Partner with PR Manager in developing focused and elevated strategies for NA to increase brand awareness, exposure, and editorial coverage for the Maison, including product launches, collaborations, & brand image initiatives.
  • Support PR Manager in the development of broader strategies and pitching of announcements, brand collaborations, and editorial projects for NA-based outlets.
  • Own, maintain and present measuring systems of growth utilizing DMR (editorial) to ensure effective strategies – identifying strengths as well as areas for growth. Main point of contact for all reporting and analytics. DMR Reporting and analysis (monthly, quarterly, annual, and on an as needed basis)
  • Brainstorm ideas for PR opportunities and develop strong angles for pitches, press releases and influencer campaigns. Introduce both traditional & forward-thinking ideas.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with editors, e-influencers, agents, key stakeholders and vendors in the luxury, fashion & trade spaces through support of photoshoots, press previews and brand events.
  • Liaise and partner with NA commercial, marketing & internal communications teams on local strategies to create buzz and awareness in local markets across the regions.
  • Own, maintain and advise on North America budget management and invoicing supporting PR Manager and PR Director for editorial initiatives.
  • Support PR Manager in sourcing assets and product with Global PR for long-lead and HJ focused features
  • Coordinate HJ pulls with Global PR and ensure timely follow-up with editors to ensure placements in key titles
  • Support NAPR team with press trip logistics and overall travel coordination with editors
  • Keep accurate track of NA PR samples and assist with bi-annual sample inventory

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute public relations programs aligned with the overall PR strategy and North America goals. Specifically support Tiffany representation across top print and digital outlets with a focus on DMR ranked outlets to promote key initiatives and moments alongside PR Managers and PR Director.
  • Point of contact for all DMR analysis and budget queries and PR support for PR Managers and PR Director for press outreach.
  • Generate positive publicity through print/digital editorial, broadcast, influencers, and media events.
  • Collaborate in developing event concepts and press presentations that drive coverage.
  • Foster existing and develop new relationships with print/digital press, identify new outlets and media opportunities through support of photoshoots as needed,
  • Leverage internal communications opportunities and collaborate with internal communications team on disseminating PR initiatives to regional client advisors.
  • Partner with the PR Manager and PR Director on NA influencer programs and social media opportunities

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of marketing or communications experience with understanding of luxury media, editorial landscape, and industry behavior
  • Creative thinking, persuasive selling through good understanding of media relations
  • Undergraduate college degree
  • PR agency experience a plus
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Ability to model agility
  • Ability to create a positive work environment
  • Ability to manage and operate under tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage budgets on multiple projects at once
  • Some travel to key markets required

The hiring range for this position ranges from $26.61 - $35.99. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
