Brief Description

New York Sports Club and our family of brands, including Fhitting Room, is a long-standing, dynamic fitness club brand with locations in the Northeast, Florida, and Switzerland. We consider ourselves your local neighborhood gym! It is our goal to provide our members with fitness results, positive change and personal connections through innovative programming and knowledgeable staff. Our mission is to “Improve Lives Through Fitness”. Our success comes from continuously modeling and promoting the mission, values, and guiding principles with pride and integrity.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Continuously modeling and promoting the NYSC and our family of brands mission, mission statement, and values with pride and integrity.
  • Reviewing and adhering to all NYSC and our family of brands documents including but not limited to policies and procedures, employee handbook, state supplement, codes of conduct, etc.
  • Embrace the NYSC/Fhitting Room brand, become the voice of the brand.
  • Analyze consumer markets, monitor trends and identify potential areas to invest time and resources to reach target consumers and drive sales and profitability.
  • Manage in-house Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer to create and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and social media channels to elevate the NYSC & Fhitting Room brand.
  • Drive NYSC/Fhitting Room desired messaging through all communications and physical locations.
  • Promote brand growth and expansion.
  • Manage Public Relations agency and grow media impressions and return on investment with measurable results.
  • Write/oversee marketing copy, including but not limited to blogs, Instagram, email marketing, studio collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Develop and manage brand partnerships to elevate and extend NYSC/Fhitting Room brand.
  • Understanding of all elements of the marketing mix, including social media, public relations, and influencer marketing.
  • Measure brand KPI’s regularly; design and execute marketing strategies to improve KPI’s (from conceptualization through implementation).
  • Keep abreast of industry competition.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management, marketing or advertising, preferably for a consumer brand.
  • Passion for fitness and familiarity with the boutique fitness industry; must be able to fall in love with the NYSC/Fhitting Room brand and organization.
  • Eye for design / aesthetics
  • Super creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Project and agency management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
  • Proven track record of increasing revenues and achieving deliverables
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to proficiently use our timekeeping system and any other computer programs required to meet the business needs.
