Reporting to the VP Creative, the Senior Creative Project Manager will be a key senior member within our creative team, overseeing project management across the entire consumer brand portfolio: Zala, Luxy, Donna Bella, Glam Seamless and Hidden Crow. Maintain and track budget and spend across the portfolio, shoot production needs as well as project managing and resourcing creative projects. Working closely with the VP Creative, the Creative Operations Director will help build and manage all budgets, negotiate rates and contracts, organize all talent and crew, book travel, lodging transportation, catering, location scouting, equipment rentals, and permitting.

With time evenly split across producing and daily project management for the Creative Department, the Senior Creative Project Manager will work with the Creative Director to assign resourcing, establish and manage workback schedules, and liaise between department stakeholders to ensure project completion to plan and on budget.

This individual is highly collaborative, highly organized, and understands the creative process and has experience managing concurrent projects and productions. You are highly detail-oriented and have killer organizational and project management skills.

This is a remote role with preference to PST and MST timezones.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee and implement processes to create efficiencies in workflow across the BIG consumer brand portfolio;
  • Lead pre-production to post-production scope of shoots—working with the VP Creative and the Creative Director(s) to produce on brand, influencer, and still photography and video scheduling shoot days according to product launch timelines and artist/talent availability;
  • Enforcing creative briefing across all aspects of projects and asset requests from brand and channel partners.
  • Support the execution of post-production tasks such as retouching, editing, returns (if necessary), and final invoicing;
  • Oversee the management and planning of the creative team budget;
  • Liaise between the internal team and external artists, and coordinate all logistics (i.e. shoot location, transportation of equipment and product, call sheets, catering, etc.);
  • Maintain relationships with talent, artists, agencies and freelance talent regionally and globally;
  • Support the creative team with project management of final file production to schedule and asset specs;
  • Lead the creative team in all aspects of project management, including: creative project resourcing, bandwidth management, workback development, key stakeholder alignments;
  • Assist the Creative Directors and creative team on campaign and launch initiatives;
  • Assist the Creative Directors and creative team with photoshoot pre-production;
  • Assist the VP Creative internally with ad-hoc administrative assignments and projects.

Requirements

  • University or College degree in design, art production, project management or a related field;
  • 9+ years of related work experience (experience in a production company or agency is highly preferred);
  • Proven track record in budgeting, project/workflow management and vendor management;
  • Team-driven, handles constructive feedback and thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and shifting priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required;
  • Confident and effective communication with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe CS;
  • Experience using Monday and other project management softwares;
  • Knowledge of the e-Commerce industry is a strong plus;
  • Love for/experience with Hair Extensions/Hair/Beauty a strong plus;
  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced, growing digital/beauty company and/or startup preferred;
  • Attuned to creative trends and evolving ideologies, categories.
