SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST
The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for the strategic execution of our Branded Social Media Platforms driving customer engagement, and community. The team focuses on developing engaging social content strategies that supports various brand, and business priorities across our social media platforms. This position is based in New York City and reports to the Senior Director, Social.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement social media programs on multiple platforms/channels to increase brand awareness and drive engagement and brand love.
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
- Experience personally appearing in social media content for a brand or personally and running film content creation
- Manage the social media editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and campaigns- Draft, Schedule, Post, Boost.
- Monitor and respond to user engagement and feedback on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner, utilizing and creating best practices to set and maintain benchmarking, defining audiences, KPIs, key learnings, and brand goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create visually appealing and on-brand content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media and fashion to incorporate into the overall strategy.
- Analyze social media data and metrics to track performance and optimize content and campaigns, and help project manage all production and deliverables
- Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to develop and execute partnerships and collaborations.
- Build social content briefs, campaign concepts, and social plans for photoshoots, events and content days
- Attend and capture social content at-home, and on-site as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Commercial, Insights, Media to support holistic marketing strategies, and help communicate strategy/results with the team across the organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in merchandising, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Experience as a content creator natively producing content for TikTok and IG Reels
- At least 2 years business experience in social media, influencer marketing, PR or content creation
- Experience managing influencer marketing or publicity programs is preferred.
- Digital native with strong familiarity and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the social media industry and trends
- Photoshop, Illustrator, Sprout, Sprinkler, Later, Grin, Google Analytics, Brandwatch, Canva, Duet and Cutcap experience a plus
- Experience conceptualizing and executing new content strategies
- Ability to identify emerging trends and make recommendations for new opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Demonstrable leadership skills, with a high degree of maturity
- Strong decision-making, time management & planning skills
- Collaborative team-player
- Effective time management skills
- Working knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
- Knowledge of social media calendar and scheduling platforms (sprout, Monday, etc.) a plus
