American Express’ Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. Within GABM sits the Global Brand Strategy & Insights team responsible for defining & accelerating the Amex Brand Strategy Delivering Customer insights and elevating tools and learnings for the global Marketing Community.
The Senior Analyst, Global Influencer Strategy, is a unique opportunity to join an emerging team with wide-ranging visibility into influencer marketing efforts across the organization. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Global Influencer Strategy, and support the central vetting team helping to lead the day-to-day operations and strategic evolution of our global vetting strategy with integration across the Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Enterprise including CA&C, CEG, and various marketing partners to support the roll-out and evolution of the global influencer vetting strategy
- Aide in the development and implementation of consistent processes, guidelines and best practices for all influencer talent engagements and vetting requests.
- Support the day-to-day operations and end-to-end process for influencer vetting, including submission in-take, ongoing process tracking and review of overall strategic brand fit
- Ensure data integrity across all influencer vetting documents and reports
- Accelerate our execution practices with an eye towards process improvement
- Develop relationships with partners across the organization, including Marketing, Operational Excellence, CA&C, and CEG, with a focus on establishing clear and open communication to capture feedback and help inform process evolution
- Work with marketing partners to understand all aspects of influencer vetting requests and corresponding campaigns in order to best advise on strategic brand fit and evolution of the global vetting strategy
- Identify trends and insights related to influencer requests and associated marketing initiatives across the organization
- Help drive efficiency, mitigate risk and deliver ongoing process excellence across all influencer vetting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in marketing, operations or similar roles
- Proactive self-starter with excellent process/project management skills and dedication to quality
- Interest and understanding of the influencer, social and talent landscape, as well as emerging technologies, platforms and trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact, consult and influence up and down across all levels of partners and key stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues in a dynamic, fast paced, global environment
- Comfortable navigating white space and changing course when necessary
- Passion for innovation, technology & brand
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
