Compensation: $165,000 to $195,000 Annually

Position Overview:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for the marketing strategy and oversee the Content, Social Media, Influencer & Community Marketing, and Marketing PM teams, while partnering closely with the Creative, Digital and Events functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and collaborate with co-founders in creating strategic brand & seasonal marketing strategies with a 360 approach and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to manage the marketing strategy across all platforms to grow brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer retention.
  • Partner with Retail & Events teams to develop and execute best in class retail store event & product launches while developing programs to support & promote core product.
  • Create and oversee the marketing budget, including photoshoots, events (retail, influencer, brand, etc.), influencer gifting, etc. and execute within budget confines.
  • Oversee social media marketing and act as expert in new and trending social media platforms and content.
  • Collaborate with digital team on paid social media marketing and act as expert on social media trends and influencer strategy designed to improve the full marketing funnel.
  • Oversee Sr. Manager Influencer & Community Marketing to increase brand awareness, engagement, consideration, and conversion. Develop influencer strategy that is designed to improve the full marketing funnel.
  • Oversee and support the strategy of social content and channel management.
  • Cultivate sponsorships & partnerships to help support brand events.
  • Responsible for the professional and personal development of the Marketing and Brand team through establishing goals, one-on-one coaching, team meetings, and career development meetings.
  • Constantly deliver new ideas/inspirations/new approaches to help foster conversation and evolution of the brand.
  • Monitor competitive brands for insights that could lead to innovations.
  • Monitor research for shifts in consumer behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with 3-5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing channels
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain attention to detail while keeping overall business goals in mind.
  • Ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.

Salary: $165,000 - $195,000
