About The Role
The Digital/Community Marketing - Vertical Lead at Ludeo will possess the ability to build, scale and sustain Ludeo’s and our partners’ gaming communities using community-building strategies, digital marketing activations and capitalizing on the latest social media marketing trends. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, as well as an ability to foster positive relationships with individuals, teams and organizations. This position is one of the principal ambassadors for the company. Working directly with the CMO, this person is expected to participate in the strategy, execute with minimal supervision, and be flexible enough to adjust campaigns on the fly. This position is based in our HQ in El Segundo, Ca and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Engage gaming communities by showcasing the innovative features and benefits of Ludeo technology to enhance gaming experiences and game discovery.
- Build and manage B2C programs in collaboration with Indie and AAA game developers and publishers, establishing best practices for gaming partners.
- Grow our LinkedIn profile to establish Ludeo as subject matter experts on game discovery.
- Develop and implement strategies for building and maintaining programs and activities that positively impact the Ludeo community, including both Ludeons (content consumers) and Ludeators (content creators).
- Create cohesive B2B and B2C messaging and plans to attract awareness among the game development community and their respective game communities.
- Serve as the principal ambassador for Ludeo, sharing the company’s vision globally and representing the company at relevant events to build strong relationships with key community members.
- Build and maintain relationships with community members, key individuals, and other organizations, acting as a point of contact for social and endemic gaming communities.
- Mentor junior staff members, assisting with their professional development to align with the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CMO to support Ludeo marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics for B2B and B2C efforts.
- Coordinate programs with Ludeo’s Influencer Team and partner with the Player Success team to create a direct line of communication with Ludeons.
- Draft and distribute communications to promote the company, as well as individuals and groups within it.
- Respond to community inquiries and recruit knowledgeable spokespeople or information sources when needed.
- Build and promote cross-functional relationships within the company.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute public press conferences, working with third-party PR agencies when necessary.
- Manage social media content and virtual groups to enhance the company’s online profile.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in creative, marketing, public relations, and/or communications
- A minimum of 5-7+ years of managing core game communities, moderating social media accounts and content creators along with experience launching core video games is strongly preferred.
- A consistent track record of developing well-reasoned, strategic plans and executing to completion.
- Knowledge of video games - especially strategy, shooter, story, action, and arcade games.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to build strong, productive professional relationships with cross-functional collaborative partners.
- Proven ability to work with third-party agencies and talent relations professionals.
- Expert knowledge of all global social platforms and their nuances: TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Threads, FB, Snapchat, Giphy, Discord, X, Reddit
- Familiarity with social listening, video analytics, and creator marketing tools such as: Spiketrap, Synthesio, Tubular, StreamHatchet, and CreatorIQ.
