🎸 DistroKid is Hiring: Growth Marketing Manager - Affiliate/Influencer 🎸

Join the band at DistroKid and help us hit the high notes in Growth Marketing! We are looking for a technical paid channel manager to own the development and scaling of our global Affiliate / Influencer channels.

Compensation range: $75,000 - 90,000 USD annually

Location: Fully remote in the USA ONLY

Sponsorship: NO; Not provided at this time, including after student visas expire.

🎸 Rock Your Role: Responsibilities 🎸

You'll jam with business leads, publisher partners, agencies/networks, and MarTech stakeholders to develop automation and optimization solutions that drive efficient scale for these channels.

*Campaign Management:

  • Manage full-cycle execution of global direct response paid Affiliate/Influencer campaigns.
  • This includes managing the creative process of producing and optimizing all creative assets.

*Optimization:

  • Find areas of opportunity, design and execute experiments, and present data-driven recommendations that improve current marketing and business practices to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

*Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work cross-functionally with global teams to develop, launch, and track high-impact integrated campaigns.
  • Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute.

*MarTech:

  • Work closely with MarTech partners to develop and implement advanced automation and optimization solutions.

*Reporting:

  • Regular generation and monitoring of marketing reports that provide actionable insights and updates on campaigns and the business as a whole.

*Relationship management:

  • Build strong relationships with key affiliate publishers, 3rd party networks/vendors, and influencers to become their favorite partner to work with.

🎵 Requirements to Hit the Right Notes 🎵

*Tech Experience:

  • Ability to work with internal engineering teams to build in-house solutions to scale marketing efforts.
  • Understanding of both pixel and mobile app measurement and tracking.

*Data / Optimization Experience:

  • Excellent analytical skills (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL are a plus).
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies.

*Marketing Channel Knowledge:

  • A keen marketing sense to maximize resonance with target audiences.
  • Work with creative teams to consistently build and optimize.
  • Knowledge of the Affiliate/Influencer Marketing ecosystem, including payouts, targeting, and more.

*Organization and Attention to Detail:

  • Organized and detail-oriented, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

*Communication Skills:

  • Conveying information with clarity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing clear directions.

*Leadership:

  • Leadership qualities to motivate the team, set clear expectations, delegate tasks, allocate the budget, and assign ownership.

*Flexibility:

  • Adaptable and open to change, as marketing projects often require adjustments and unforeseen circumstances.

*Curiosity:

  • Willing to ask questions for clarification and open to taking on and trying new things.
