Marketing Manager
Position Summary:
The Function retail marketing team is hiring a Marketing Manager. The retail marketing team is responsible for developing innovative and strategic go to market plans across multiple channels. We ensure flawless brand execution and support our retail partners in delivering sales targets based on best in class marketing tactics. The Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Retail Marketing with execution of all brand elements within retail channels. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who excels in category research and can provide regular analyses around competitive and strategic brand marketing initiatives, as well as support the team with inputs on brand communications and go-to-market plans. You work well cross-functionally and with our retail accounts to support the retail marketing team's needs. You have strong interpersonal skills, with the potential to lead select accounts. You have a passion for retail strategy and are obsessed with beauty. You have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Help develop and execute the overall go to market brand strategy
- Collaborate with Marketing Director to execute go-to-market plans including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, in-store execution, point of sale, promotions etc
- Drive adaptation of marketing campaigns to specific customer needs, ensuring 360 campaigns (in-store, digital, social, events, promotions), covering ongoing and launch support and promotional activity
- Lead briefing for in-store visual merchandising + print needs across customer portfolio
- Work alongside the Retail team to develop and create holistic trade marketing plans designed to drive business, including visual merchandising, influencer and creative briefs, seasonal programs, loyalty programs, GWP, special kits, etc. while delivering a strong ROI on programming
- Submission and coordination of DOTCOM needs such as PDP imagery, copy, on-site campaigns and programs
- Support the planning and submission of retail meetings & other planning documents to customers
- Brief and create collateral for all customer-specific programs and in-store needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of copy, comps, artwork, visuals, etc. to customers
Strategy & Insights
- Drive research, analysis and category trends to aid in long term strategy
- Evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns and adjust plans as necessary
- Regular reporting & analysis on effectiveness, functionality of strategies & programs including KPIs for paid media
Be the internal champion for the Retail business
- Assist Marketing Director, Education and Sales team in the development and delivery of presentations, materials and collateral to ensure success with key partners and professional audiences
- Participant in strategic customer meetings including: Monthly business updates, Line-Reviews
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure synergies with our in-store & digital strategy
- Regularly communicates with Sales, Field, Education teams to share Account specific support plans and changes
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree ; preferred marketing/ business focus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing roles (preferably beauty),demonstrating a track record of success in these areas
- Experience working with retailers preferred (mass and/or specialty)
- Strong computer skills, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Extremely organized, accountable, and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle urgent matters efficiently
- Strong relationship-building abilities, ability to work with various cross functional teams

Compensation Range:
- $85k-$110k
